Hi everyone, please help me.
I graduated last march 2007 here in the Philippines and I have my license here already.
Because of oversupply of nurses here, it's too difficult to find a job.
That's why I'm looking forward to working in Australia or New Zealand.
However, I'm confused. Esp about Australia.
I already have my bachelors degree here.
When I go there in Aus to work as RN, must I take a diploma in nursing first? can I work while studying?
After obtaining my diploma there, am I already a registered nurse?
Thank you!

hi i would like to ask about the IELTS you see my IElts has expired last march and i am intending to retake in a few months. Is it okay if i send my QLD application first before retaking IELTS? or it should be sent together?and lastly, a friend of mine has a score of 6.5 in writing and will send his result within this month.. should he retake? since the req is 7 in all categories?
thanks so much to those who will reply..
thanks aelith for the responding to my previous post :)
You're welcome dear :)
And Ryan09 was right.. your friend would need to retake... And as for your case, I suggest you pass everything as soon as you can and just pass the IELTS requirement later on when you have it.. :)
its been a while and i have to submit new documents... its so hard to go back the thread... can anybody please refresh me on how the notary should look like...what should the lawyer put... what details should be included. thanks
this is what i did and which was advised to me by another person in the forum
the certification must appear on the front of each page of the document.
- each page must show original signature
- date of certification
- name of individual certifying the document
- signature
- contact address
- phone number
hope this helps..

I emailed the NBV (Victoria) and they replied that i should get my assessment letter within 30 days from May 15---it was the time they received the PRC document... have you tried following up with your Nursing board?
Not yet, i sent mine to QNC and when i got my acknowledgment letter last march it said not to contact them till i received the assessment letter. I sent my application last march and a week later i got the acknowledgment..so maybe they are just really busy ...but its so tempting to email them already..When did you send your application to Victoria?
