  1. Hey can anyone help me find an inexpensive but safe accomodation on either in brisbane or sydney on May. Will be in rocky on April for clinical placement.
  2. Hi I am doing my clinical placement in queensland this april... would you know of how i can get an inexpensive accomodation? In rockhampton on April and then in brisbane or sydney a month after so thats around May.
  3. i think i had the longest wait ever.... i submitted my application last december without IELTS yet but since it is Christmas season and with the long vacations, it got delayed. January i received a letter stating i need to submit police clearance which i did promptly, i submitted my NBI clearance (and took my IELTS February) so from January i waited for 3 months. On April, instead of an approved letter, i recieved another letter stating that i need additional requirement which means a clear breakdown of my theoreticals and clinicals and course descriptions and also a letter stating that my first course was credited to my nursing degree. I received my approval last week of June or 1st week of JUly not so sure really. But for the others i know who got the approval the same time i did, they just submitted February. I guess its better to just wait... they will give you a response within 3-4 months. Maybe if its more than that then that is when you start to worry. FOr now i guess the best thing to do it read about Australia... the anmc and qnc website is the best place to start... so when you get your approval you can schedule your exam right away. I hope this helped. God bless everyone.
  4. after a long time... so many messages to read and be up to date with the thread... COngratulations to all who passed the ielts and have received their assessment. For those who were asked police clearance like me... it takes bout 3 months for you to get the final assessment... I believe that the regular length of approval in QLD is between 3-4 months.
  5. Thanks nykhouston... i have to submit additonal documents and i hope this time... it will satisfy qnc and pass the assessment. Thanks again.
  6. its been a while and i have to submit new documents... its so hard to go back the thread... can anybody please refresh me on how the notary should look like...what should the lawyer put... what details should be included. Thanks
  7. Oh my gosh... qnc is asking for more documents... i still have to complete it like breakdown of theoretical hours and course description...:-(
  8. Is there an age limit for being registered in NBV? Because in QNC its only up to 45 right? I am considering victoria too. I am wondering if my friend can just try NBV since she is 46... Thanks.
  9. HI Joe turtle... Please refresh me.... are you an experienced nurse?... ICU nurse?... Do you think unexperienced nurses like us can pass part B? Do you do actual interventions or its all talk. Congratulations again!!!:
  10. A friend who submitted her application for just before her ielts expired is able to finish her part A and will soon leave to take her part B. I believe what is important is for the ielts to be current when they receive your application... if it expires eventually then it does not matter anymore.
  11. Still waiting for my confirmation.... I submitted december... GOd willing i can get my confirmation by April...
  12. Congratulations JOe Turtle! We will be waiting for a blow by blow report on how it went through! I know you will be victorious! Congratulations in advance:up:
  13. Pls enlighten me with working in aged care... What is its advantages and disadvantages compared to working in a hospital... interms of pay, stress etc. I am waiting for my confirmation to take the bridging program to become a nurse in Australia... Thanks you in advance.
