Guys and Gals...news from Victoria:

Cost of Bridging Programs in Victoria:

1. Mercy Health-> AUD$ 10,000...next intake is on June 29, 2009.

2. Deakin University-> less than AUD$10,000...next available intake January 2010.

3. ETEA-> AUD$10,600..next intake June 2009 (others please confirm this, as i wasnt sure about etea).

*NOTE: NBV WILL RAISE THE IELTS BAND SCORE THEY REQUIRE. IT WILL BE 7 IN EACH OF THE COMPONENTS. STARTING JULY 2009.

All of Australia and NZ is already requiring 7.0 in all bands...

true..but if an applicant can submit its ielts before july this year with 6.5 band scores in reading and listening the board will still accept it...

anyway, im still trying to contact western health, they havent ring me back yet. :yawn:

anyway, have you decided on which school to take your bp in victoria? i think i will enroll in ETEA for October intake although i want to hear feedback from Dudzy...she will join June intake.

Thanks to everyone.. Yeah, we could meet up in melbourne..hehehe... i have a week to go around and find my way.. hahahaha... Before I enrolled, ETEA told me that they have only one slot left so I had to immediately enroll and pay to confirm the slot and luckily i did.. I think august09 is the next schedule..

hi i would like to ask about the IELTS you see my IElts has expired last march and i am intending to retake in a few months. Is it okay if i send my QLD application first before retaking IELTS? or it should be sent together?

and lastly, a friend of mine has a score of 6.5 in writing and will send his result within this month.. should he retake? since the req is 7 in all categories?

hi, you can send your application even without the ielts result...the board will still assess it, however you cant proceed to any step after the board assessed your papers without ielts result.yes, they will tell you that youre eligible to do the CAS provided that you have satisfactorily meet the english language requirements...but yeah, you can send your application first, i do suggest that you send it first so that your application will already be on qeue.

all boards of nursing in australia require 7 band score in writing. so he should retake the ielts.
