So today I became aware that the new ideal CPR rate is "at least" 100 (and up to 120) compressions per minute with the ideal being more like 110 compressions per minute...
Help!
I can no longer use Staying Alive or Another One Bites the Dust!
New songs needed, must be a catchy, rhythmic 110 BPM. Clever double meanings a plus.
Got any good ones?

According to my research (magic school bus throw back!) 'Dont stop believing' by Journey is 119 bpm :)
As well as 'don't stop till ya get enough' by MJ :)

How about just singing "Staying Alive" a little faster?
But it was so fun looking up new songs!

Just learned that Bangarang by Skrillex is 110 bpm... I'm going to be getting all dubstep in my codes now. Bonus points for pushing the IV drugs while doing the robot.
Further digging just revealed that Another Way to Die by Disturbed is 112 bpm! That's too funny. :)

Nope, that was one of the "old" ones....100 bpm.
I think I'll move toward Don't Stop Believin' :)

Proper, complete compressions probably more important than what song you are thinking about.

Pink: Raise Your Glass
Lady GaGa: Bad Romance
Taylor Swift: Mean
Carly Rae Jepsen: Call Me Maybe
Lady GaGa: Poker Face
Ram Jam: Black Betty
Diana Ross: I Will Survive
Michael Jackson: Thriller
They are actually about 120BPM my music but I have found it successful with teaching
