my teacher said that this will be the hardest thing we will have to learn. is it really that much harder than bones/muscles?

It is challenging..when I took it back when I was a freshman I did have to study a little bit more than any of the other systems of the body. But once you know how the nerves and the other components of the nervous system work you can pick it up pretty well. The Cardiac and the Nervous System were the two areas I had to really study for..but you'll be fine.

My instructor told us the same thing when we started this system but I loved it and did pretty well. Just stay focused!

The nervous system has always been tricky for me, but I thought the urinary system in 110 was much, much harder.

Personally, I feel that the nervous system was harder than muscles and bones. It's still doable, just study and keep up with the lecture and reading, and you should be fine. We get our test back on Nervous system tomorrow...we'll see how I did!

We just tested on the first part of the nervous system this week. It was hard, but with a lot of study time it was alright. I think that the hardest thing was figuring out how the physiology of the nervous system worked.

I agree that the urinary system was difficult. For such small organs, the kidneys have a lot of parts to them! I thought the endocrine system was tricky as well.

I thought the nervous system was harder than the bones and muscles. I think it just confused me and I did not spend enough time studying that part.

I didn't find it challenging as far the as the anatomy part goes, but the physiology part was a bit more complex than the bones and muscles. Still, I thought the nervous system was the most interesting one by far, so that made it easier to learn.
For me, the most difficult was the cardiovascular system.

I have a degree in psychology and I STILL cannot remember where the cranial nerves are and what each does. I've had this material like 3 times now... there's just something about it.
But yeah, our teacher told us that too so I can't imagine not having prior knowledge.
