Hi guys,
My 17 year old son was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia on 1/18. The prognosis is very good, but the induction phase of chemo is pure hell! He's already lost 20 pounds and was diagnosed today with C Diff. If he loses any more weight, may need to consider a feeding tube. We are very hopeful for a quick remission, so any kind thoughts and prayers would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Absolutely keeping you in our prayers. Leukemia is one hell of a ride. Definitely start bonding with other leukemia parents - it is a long, long trip to being off chemo and the world swiftly thinks it is an automatic cure - forgetting the terrible things you all have to go through to get there. LLS has a wonderful bulletin board for parents of kids with leukemia. You are NOT alone. There are many of us out there who know what you are going through. Huge hugs - take good care of yourself when he is having good days, so you are well rested and able to go the long haul when the bad days come. God bless all your family.
