Ok...so I've been studying for this thing since May 27th. I have taken Kaplan. I have done both Kaplan and Saunders questions to study for this thing.
I am sitting here now...24 hours away from taking my test, and wondering is there anything else I can do?? I've been told (and have read on this site) to take today and do something fun and stress relieving. So I plan to go see "Pirates of the Caribbean"
Tomorrow after the test I plan to get my hair done .... so if I freak out it will be under a dryer
I will be at church this morning...and going to prayer tomorrow morning before the test. Any other words of encouragement???
I am starting to get a little nervous. I was never the smartest in my class, but I was persistent. I am just ready for this to be over! Ok...no more rambling.

The NCLEX doesn't need you to be the smartest in your class, lol....just able, according to a basic standard, of being safe and having good judgment for nursing situations. Can you do that? Can you let all the other gunk go and just focus in on the test, one question at a time? Then you can DO this!!! :)
Persistent means to me you worked hard and learned what you needed to do. And that's all the NCLEX wants from you
Hang in there, you'll be a nurse soon!!

Sounds like a plan to me!!
Resist any temptation to look up "just one more lab value" or review some off the wall disease process you just now remembered!!
REALLY RELAX!! Have a pleasant day, an even better dinner, take a nice hot bath, and go to bed early. Make sure to have something nutritious for breakfast with some good-for-you protein. Then go slay that dragon!! hehe
You've prepared yourself well, grasshopper :)
She's following me again, LOL.....

Glad you will pray before the test, that is an excellent thing to do. It gives you boldness to write the test without much fear. Remember the LORD has said "I will never leave you nor forsake you" so just be of yourself and believe that he who has promise you is FAITHFUL to his words, thus your effort will be crowned with flying colors.
I wish you good Luck tomorrow, may the mighty hand of the LORD guide you throughout the test.

Hey nextnursedani, i know how you feel! I am going to watch a bunch of girly movies and maybe get a hair cut the day before. I take mine on the 27th. I had to leave work early today because my BP was 140/99. I never have high BP! This test is making me physically ill. I am going to have a stroke or an MI before it's all over! lol! I am taking the rest of today to relax..... Good luck tomorrow!
Thanks everyone!
Your words are fabulous (especially the little prayer!!!)
I am excited and nervous....though I know I will be fine.
Just need to relax and throw away this horrible nagging thing that wants to make me feel like falling out and screaming!
I graduated..right?!
I have to have learned something
Tomorrow is just another test. (right?!)
I'll be fine.
Really...you don't know how much it means to have so many great vibes coming my way tonight!!!
Keep 'Em Comin'!!!
I'll keep you all updated!
