My take on the NCLEX is this, it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. The day before I tested, I had spoken to a fellow graduate who had already taken the boards, and she told me that is was easy. I almost hung up on her, I told her that she's the first person that I knew that had thought that. Despite what she said, I went into the testing center thinking that this was going to be the hardest test that I will ever take. When I finished the test on 7/11, I thought, that's it? This is the test that I've been scared of from the beginning? The majority of questions that I got were not difficult, of course I got those priority questions and yes, they were hard, but aside from those, it really wasn't as bad as I had thought. When I left I knew that I had passed this behemoth of a test.
To those who have yet to test, waiting will be the hardest part but there are 2.6+ million RN's out there, all who have done it, it can be done. Put your time in studying because you have to know your content, know you herbs (only had one) and just do what you gotta do, you guys will have RN behind your names in no time. Be blessed!
Thank you SO SO much for posting this!! I test tomorrow and I really needed to hear this right now. Thank you :)
