NCLEx-RN study buddy testing MARCH 2010

Published

Hi I am just wondering if someone likes to be my study buddy.I am from California,I will be taking by march and it will be my 3rd time.It's so hard for me to sit and study again I need motivation.

Amen. As we identify that we are powerless and GOD will guide us, may we see the light at the end of the tunnel. I agree that we have come this far and he has a plan for all of. I wish each and every one the same calmness in their studies and the that the confidence that they hold within themselves will shine as bright as the stars above. Good Luck everyone.

I am with you on the studying. It appears you have the right concept as I have read several different comments about studying and you are right in line with those. I have been out of school for 10 years and am trying to study myself. Thanks for the advise and keep up the studying as you will definitely benefit from it. Good luck on your studying and on your test.

I hope to continue to find ways and advise from others on how to study for the exam and make the most of my time. There is much advise here and great one's at that.

@einannie05> I'm so sorry about you grandma's departure. I do understand your situation right now. The feelings of loss, can't focus enough, anxieties of taking an exam, add in the stress from work and everything seems like in a mess. But hey, don't breakdown. Remember that we have a Father that doesn't turn His back on you. Ask for guidance from above. From the time left that you have before exam, with proper time management, you can still review and make it. Remember it's a test too. As i have mentioned before, if you are religious, you can vent all your negative feelings to God, and believe me, for He is the only one that totally know what you are going through and He is the only one that knows what to do you. :)

Don't let these things hinder you and bother you so much, 'cause you know what, all the things that you are going through is just NORMAL. You are not the only one experiencing it. :)

prayers to all! we will pass!

@the.godfatherXIII: that was an amazing advice...yeah maybe I haven't prayed and forgot about God lately

GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF US..LET GOD BE OUR GUIDE..:)

You're welcome! :)

Heads up. Don't despair. Just take your time and manage it well.

And if you feel your out off the track again, don't forget to come back in this website, which i often do. There are dozens of people here who can always give time to listen and to share their knowledge and wisdom. :) Good luck to you and us! :igtsyt:

Also, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staffs and members of this amazing website who shared their positive thoughts and stories. You guys may not know it, but you lifted our spirit and put us back on track when our reviews seem so frustrating. Kudos to you all! :up: :igtsyt:

I have to review content because I have been away from school for 6 years. Yep..Yep...I am sleepy too. I can only listen for a few hours at a time.

Good luck to everyone testing in March!

hehe..guys, don't forget to do some physical exercises. It has been proven that it can boost your stamina and can prolong your ability to concentrate and you can last longer more when studying. And I agree, I've been going to the gym before and it did some good effects on me. Before i don't even last an hour reviewing since i get sleepy, but after going to the gym and doing some stuffs there, I can last the whole night without getting sleepy..(with breaks too of course or else you won't retain what you've been reading). Taking in multivitamins work as well, especially if you review up to late night. Let me share an advice from kaplan.com for us test takers;

""Exercise... whether it's jogging, walking, biking or aerobics, physical exercise is a very effective way to stimulate both your mind and body and improve your ability to think and concentrate. Ironically, many students get out of the habit of regular exercise precisely because they're too busy preparing for exams. But, even the slightest physical activity helps reduce the stress and frustration associated with studying for an important exam."
