NCLEX RN July 2

I'm taking my NCLEX RN July 2 and just wanted to post this because I'm home on a Saturday studying at 11pm at night. :banghead: I wish every luck who is taking the exam!!! I hope all this studying will pay off soon. :yeah:

I am studying too!! I am scheduled for July 15th. Any suggestions for SATA as far as strategy?

I'm actually freaking out reading how many SATA people are saying they are getting on other threads (20-30). Usually i get one right out of 10. The only strategy that I learn on how to concure the SATA is take one choice at a time and ask yourself if its TRUE or FALSE related to the question. I also took kaplan and these are my scores just so if anyone wants to know if we are on the same boat

QT1: 59%

QT2: 57%

QT3: 48% (wasn't a good day)

QT4: 56%

QT5: 53%

QT6: 64%

QT7: 67%

readiness test 1: 68%

Readiness test 2: 73%

I also finished all the Qbank with 62%

I had 18 SATA on the 26th. When I answered them I asked if it were T/F, if I was not familar with the content in the question, then I tried to pick the safest responses that made the most sense...:D

Mine's on the 2nd as well... I'm just studying at work though lol.

I test the 2nd as well! I am rediculously nervous and dont think that ill be able to get the results till monday because of stinkin independence day...which i usually love but they will be EVIL fireworks this year haha.

My Kaplan scores are:

qt1: 65

qt2: 60

qt3: 51

qt4: 61

qt5: 64

qt6: 65

qt7: 64

and i have a 63 average in qbank which i did about half of.

I am really hoping too that my test doenst have that many SATA because i am seriously horrible at them. Hopefully we all pass with 75 questions! (because if i have to sit through 265 again after doing qt7 i just might die at the test center of boredom)

For those who took Kaplan review, regarding Qbank, this is the only Qbank that you have practiced?

Good luck everyone! I know exactly how you feel. I took the NCLEX-RN on June 24 and I passed!!! I freaked out because the test stop at question 75 and I thought I had done something wrong. I recommend the Saunders Comprehensive Review book for studying it really help me a lot since I didn't take any prep courses.

hi guys,

i'm also taking the NCLEX on July 2. this will be my third try. i haven't studied very much but im confident that i will pass b/c God told me so. i did however review the Saunders book, the Kaplan QT's but didn't score too well on them. I'm asking you all to keep me in your prayers as I will keep you in mines. Good Luck everyone

Only one day and less than 10 hours for me... I'm scheduled for 8:00AM. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!! I'm only going to read test taking strategies tomorrow... and I'm stopping around 7:00PM or 8:00PM... I've just been doing review questions the last week... thats the only studying I've put into this lol. WISH ME LUCK! :)
