Everyone getting prepared for the NCLEX-PN...I have an idea!
Let's use this thread to start our own study group. We can share random information, advice, work on questions, etc. I was looking at the "anyone up for random fact throwing?" thread and that has a lot of great info but it seemed more geared towards RNs, so I thought..lets do one for PNs!!
We can do it totally randomly or we can work by systems, diseases, meds, etc... I have plenty of study books to get me prepared, but I thought this would be a great way for us to help each other and hopefully increase our chances of being successful at NCLEX. :grad:

Remember that everyones test is different and you can never go wrong with labs, classic s/s of each diease there is as well as priority, priority, priority. If you know norms you will spot the abnormals and nutrition is important as well take what you know and use it. Take practice tests I used saunders book and flash cards and read the rationales don't just say hum I got this wrong, know why you got it wrong so you will get it right. Take breaks have fun don't stress. School was the hard part use all the hard work and get what you have been wanting all along. Oh and if you can take an nclex review when I went this lady summed up everything I learned in a yr in about a good five hrs. Good luck to you all.
Hey everyone! Im new to the board but have been following along this whole time and it has been a great help! I graduated in July and I am scheduled to test on the 23rd!! I have already taken and failed once already at 162 questions so I am officially a nervous wreck. I studied everything before I first took it and it seemed like nothing I studied was on there. I had alot of meds I had never heard of and alot of delegation questions. I do have to say kudos to the person who posted that med on the first page or so b/c ever since I walked out of the testing center I have been trying to think of some of the meds that were on there but constantly draw a blank but that med was definately on there so thanks for that!! But any advice or last minute tips would be greatly appreciated. I have tried not to study as much as I did the first time b/c I think part of my problem was I burnt myself out on questions and studying but again ANY tips would be greatly appreciated!!:[anb]:

Everytime I think about having to take the exam (20days) I just get sick to my stomach. I feel comfortable with labs and medications..diseases and ssx I really need to work on. I am open to any tips or suggestions. I will be working/studying tomorrow to learn more about infection control, prioritization and delegation. I have some references for infection control..Did any of you read anything on prioritizing or delegation or is that mainly common sense?
