NCLEX-PN study group!!!

Published

Everyone getting prepared for the NCLEX-PN...I have an idea!

Let's use this thread to start our own study group. We can share random information, advice, work on questions, etc. I was looking at the "anyone up for random fact throwing?" thread and that has a lot of great info but it seemed more geared towards RNs, so I thought..lets do one for PNs!!

We can do it totally randomly or we can work by systems, diseases, meds, etc... I have plenty of study books to get me prepared, but I thought this would be a great way for us to help each other and hopefully increase our chances of being successful at NCLEX. :grad:

Who's interested??

:hrns&wlcm: to everyone who has joined this lil study group i started a few months ago!! i'm so glad to see that it's still going strong and that you guys are benefitting from it :) good good! i haven't been on allnurses for a while, i just started my RN program and work and crazy family stuff so i've been a bit pre-occupied. I took my NCLEX-PN today, shut off at 85. I felt eerily peaceful when leaving the testing center, just very calm and like I know I didn't do perfect but I am pretty darn sure I passed. I tried the PVT and i got the famous pop-up so... I'm hoping i got this in the bag!! I would be more than happy to share my study materials i've gathered over the last 6 months...believe me i have a TON of it...but the most useful to me today was the infection control mnemonics (SPIDERMAN, MRS WEE, VCHIPS, etc) that I posted earlier in this thread. Good luck to those of you waiting to test and i will be sure to check back on this thread!

Hi Scherie,

I listened to alot of that med-surg lecture link you sent (with Grace Lim as the speaker) on page 15 of this thread. Thanks for sharing that. It was so very informative esp for understanding the fluid and electrolytes. i'm so glad I took a lot of notes bec now I can't get on the site and I'm bummed bec I didn't get to finish it but I'm grateful for what I got out of it from hours of listening. Anyways, it takes me to myspace music site for some reason now. Hopefully, I'll get to finish it one day. But I doubt it if they changed things with imeem.

Curious, so are you working now?

Hello, Ive been reading these boards before and after taking the nclex. unfortunately I failed my first time around...it stopped at 85...real bummer if you ask me.....so I see you have some notes...I would be very grateful if I could get them...anything actually will help...so email me please if you can do this..

I really recommend for anyone to listen to...listening to this helped me with about 3-4 questions on the NCLEX..not many, but everyone helps..she states in her audio that she has ppl email her NCLEX questions...I believed it when I had gotten a few of them.

Can you tell me what are you guys are listening? I log into myspace and what is next step? I don't get it please. I really need help.
