  4. Thank you!!! Keep doing those Kaplan questions. They will prep you for the NCLEX EXAM. STAY POSITIVE!!! Do 100 questions/day. I also did 265 once per week. (The day before three 265 questions, I would relax and not focus on anything nclex lol, as if it was the real exam!!) And time yourself, that's very important!!! Lot's of praying!! I'm wishing you the best of luck!!! Btw, the RN RESIDENCY ER POSITION is completely awesome!!!!! Feels incredible to have RN letters behind my name!!! Yipppeeee!
  5. Congrats!!!! I Took the Nclex RN Friday August 15. DID THE PVT right after exam and got the "GOOD" pop up!!! waiting for actual results hopefully Monday!!!
  6. Good luck in your job search!!! I have an ED RN RESIDENCY OFFER That was contingent on this exam! When I say the nclex has chged my life....it truly has!!!!! Woot! Woot!!! WE ARE RN's.....IT'S OFFICIAL!!!!!!!!

  8. just starting excelsior after a long decision of how to free up time pursuing my BSN. Please any tips on cheap book purchases and classes to start first! need all the advice I can get! I am a LPN so hopefully I will be able to fit right in!
  9. OMG! I am a RRT but I have LPN (3 years) experience. I am presently in lpn to bsn program DSU. I was in the program in NYC but due to relocation that was enevitable I am starting over again. was interested in doing excelsior. Spoke to representative, who always makes it sounds so easy. But I want to hear from you, us, the students. I have another colleague who is doing it now and he finds it extremely difficult. Very wordy, more than the actually sit in classes I have attending for nursing. anyone in the area interested in studying together and getting thru this time in our lives? :clapnurse:

  15. future nurse 2011 is right. I never heard of LIU having a bad reputation. I give you praise :bowingpur: for getting thru the program. That seems to be the major line that im hearing...many get in, but few survive! Im in the class starting next month. I think Im ready once again to give my life up for my future....wish me luck and stay in contact...I may need some support! and CONGRATS ON YOUR RECENT GRADUATION!!!!
