so I've decided to post a thread about how my nclex pn went yesterday 08/20/11....IT WAS AWFUL!!! :chair: I walked out of there like what in the world was that? I feel I didn't know much and I have studied sooooo much!! I did mosby's CD plus entire book which consist of about 1000+ questions which I finished! I also studied off of Kaplan's strategy book and completed those questions as well! In the nursing program I was a B student couple A's and 1 C ....I was hoping my computer wouldn't shut off at 85 questions but it did. I almost had an MI! :heartbeat I had about 20+ SATA's:confused:, and a ton of priority questions, 1 calculation (a question about lb conversion plus medication and how much to give) and meds we never went over in school. I walked out of there crying :crying2: and continued to cry all the way home (btw I live in Cali)..straight to the restroom washed my face and cried some more. Last time I cried was during labor 4 yrs ago!!! anyway when I got to that last question, it was related to a medication and I guessed and got it correct.(i've checked everywhere for the answer and I did get it correct) Then the computer shut off. I was hoping to go all the way instead. 85 questions means I did really bad or really good. I feel really bad! I just don't like the fact that I got sooooooo many SATA's!:dzed: ...I mean If I did fail, I know I can always take it again but the thought of being under pressure again makes me clench my jaws!
Input is greatly appreciated. Thank God for this site.

I took the RN exam yesterday and got the last question correct and I passed, at least the pvt says as much. I went over 75 questions though, I do not think that getting the last one correct would mean as much in your situation because 85 is the minimum. Try the pvt trick that is stickied at the top of the nclex page. Apparently it is accurate.

If Im not mistaken the PN-NCLEX the min amount of questions is 85. I know my friend had a lot of SATA questions and said the test seemed to get harder as she went. All of the people I know that had a bunch of SATA question passed. Good LUCK!!

Try the pvt.. its 100%accurate.. If you think the question was difficult simlpy because you're thinking about it... and there you analyze it and you will get it. Don't be surprise if you made it.
hey guys, so i tried the pvu trick and voila...I got the good pop up!! I still think it's wrong and I want to make sure they're not mistaken me with a different test taker!...If this Good Pop up is real, then I dont know how I pass because I feel like I literally guessed and guessed..and ugh those ol' so dreaded SATA's! I'm never going to forget those. Hopefully when I test for the RN in the future I wont get as many!..thank you guys!
^ told you... you hate it because its difficult... only means you're brain was working on it.. and you got it!
