Hi everyone, yesterday 4-12-20 I took my NCLEX in NY (only place that had availability) I live in Pennsylvania. I walked out of Pearson feeling confident due to finding the questions easy & were pretty much self explanatory..I was confident, UNTIL I walked to my car and first thing I did was wip out an old expired card and do the Pearson Vue trick. I got the BAD POP UP. Almost 24 hours laters and still getting the bad pop up.. I am destroyed and so saddened. I haven’t gotten out of bed since I got home yesterday. Now that I think about it I knew it was too easy to be true I literally only had about 4 SATA and my test cut off at 68 questions.. I’m trying to stay positive but it’s so hard. Any ideas if PVT is actually 100% accurate did I do it too soon?

First, Pearson Vue test scheduling software was never intended to be used to determine pass/fail for their tests. You were expected to get your "fail" letter in the mail, then reschedule your test. The original PVT (pre 2014) allowed you to attempt to reschedule before entering your credit card. Thus, the processing of payment was not a factor. The problem is that after 2014, you must submit a credit card prior to getting a pop-up. There is no way to accurately determine if you pass/fail NCLEX based on the new PVT. Adding the credit payment processing to the mix increases the unreliability of the PVT. Did entering the wrong CC number give you an inaccurate pop-up? Did entering the wrong expiration date give you an inaccurate pop-up? Is there a delay between the scheduling software and the payment software that is causing the inacurate pop-up?
There will be a plethora of people on this site that will say "I did the PVT, got the good pop-up and passed. It is 100% accurate". If the trick was flipping a coin and Heads means you passed, you flipped the coin and landed on Heads, and you actually passed, does that mean that flipping a coin is 100% accurate to determine if you passed?
There are numerous people on this site that have gotten bad pop-ups and passed, good pop-ups and failed, had their payment go through as if they failed and actually passed.
The original (pre 2014) PVT may have been fairly accurate, but the current PVT (payment processing involved in the trick) is far less accurate.
Thank you for your feed back, I guess I will have to wait until tomorrow to purchase quick results.. I have also checked my BON website and a new license isn’t there yet. Pray to God I pass it’s my second time & IDK if I’m able to handle a 3rd.

I’m rooting for you!! ????
Did u pass
I did not pass but I went ahead and sent in my application to re-exam.. better luck next time ?
Aww it’s okay u will do great after u study again. What do u think u studied or was it not sufficient enough?
Any tips I take in 3 weeks
What did u use to stuyd
I used ReMar review.. I had bought the DVD back in the day & the virtual trainer before taking it.. I think I rushed to take the test without fully studying I more like scammed through the books ? But everything on her review was on my NCLEX I just didn’t study it enough to actually know the content.. I also think I need to learn how to answer NCLEX questions bc they will trick you with little words you have to be very careful bc one word can make the answer wrong.. I thought it was easy while I was taking the exam & like I knew everything but I guess I wasn’t paying attention to the little details..

So everyone
If it feels easy or simple it means you're failing? That seems to be the case. Bless my heart.
Yup, which is what’s mind boggling because usually if you think it’s easy it’s bc you know the content right? WRONG.
