I can't belive it desperetely need your help

I really hope that when Pearson Vue receives your letter about this "trick" you were trying to do on their site, that they do not decide to investigate what other "tricks" you have been up to with the test.

Am I the only one reading this thread? They gave you a ticket to retest simply because you sent them a letter stating that you really "felt" that you had passed? What state do you live in so that I can move there around the time I get ready to take the NCLEX? NCLEX is a test. It is pass or fail. Your references and 4.0 GPA have no bearing on it. People need to learn the concept of OWNERSHIP. Ownership says gee I didn't pass the NCLEX again! Guess I should get back in there and study some more so that I can pass it the next time. Ownership does not write letters to the BON saying that I really "felt" that I passed so can you please let me take it again even though you don't do that for everyone else who doesn't pass because lots of people like me and I usually do well on tests?

Nope, not the only one. I pretty much had the same reaction, just kept my fingers off the keyboard...this time. Besides, doesn't anyone who fails get a chance to retest anyway? Of course. It'll be the OP's second attempt, that's all.

Tricks such as cheating.........which has been known to happen.

At any rate, what I believe the OP is stating, is that she wrote a letter stating that she thought she had passed, but she didn't and so they responded by telling her she could take the test again. Which confirms that she in fact failed. All of this could have been done by signing into the site and signing up to take the test again.

A very dramatic and convoluted trail from the beginning of the story almost to the end, stopping first to back-track again to the middle and then heading straight over to the beginning and then halfway back to the end. Or the beginning of the end.

Everyone else has to pay to retake it. I usually don't say anything either about some of these crazy threads that I see on here, but as hard as I tried to stop my fingers from typing they just kept going. Sorry I work in dialysis and listen to adults whine all day and it just tears my nerves apart. I'm thinking about switching to peds. At least you expect children to whine.

Hmm, good point. If the OP indeed got a "free" ticket to retest, that's probably the only thing that I've seen on this forum that's truly unfair about it.

As for the rest, well, I have to agree my whine-meter for my lifetime is kinda stuck near "full"!

After taking my test I did the pvt for about 20 times within 38 hours and was getting the good pop based on this I thought I passed. The next day I did the pvt again and got the cc page I am so shocked I can't belive it. I haven't been sleeping and I am so down and depressed it was my third time how can pvt be so unrelaible? What is wrong or going on? Wasn't the 24 SATA with 85 questions a good sign? I am so lost, confused and do not know what to do. All I did was crying. I have talked to my professors and some recomended writing a complaint letter I just do not know how to prove them because I did the pvt what am I suppose to say in my complaint? Please help me with this letter in my heart I feel that I passed but how to prove they will tell me pvt is not relaible but what about 24 sata? oh god I do not know any more I am not a good complaint writter please help me desperetlly seeking your help.

Aww Karen, so sorry about all the confusion, i cant even imagine the feeling, but i hope you are able to talk to someone about this..i don't know what to say as to what you would write but just know you in our prayers, if you have to retake again, just remember you can do it and we are all here if you need us.

i want to thank those people who emailed me with their great tips and kindess i appriciate it very much. i was debating whether to write a letter or not and thought that i will take this idia out of my head. thanks to the people in this forum for their encouragment so i did write a letter. i stated that i have 4.0 gpa and great references from my patients and am a good nurse but was unable to pass the exam after trials. i expressed in my letter that i strognly belived i passed and asked for reconsideration. i got an email which was genuine offering me a ticket number for a retest. halleluya

forgive my ignorance, but if you are unable to pass your licensing exam, how are you "a good nurse"? if you cannot pass your licensing exam, you cannot call yourself a nurse at all.
