Find out from your school what books they will be using....i would start reading from now..i mean what medical surgical book. also change with some students in that school who will just either finish fundamentals ...what chapters to read first.. and go from there. Saunders 5th edition is another must have thru out nursing school and after. all the best\

Hey y'all, so if you have not head from me, or received any emails...its because i have recently relocated.....everything is packed including my desk top where any of my study materials are. iam using my laptop that doesn't have any files.. sorry..i will try and reply as soon as i get settled and have time. New job...and trying to get around in the new place :) thanks

Hang in there...i dont think there is anyone who likes the Nclex...but its part of our learning and becoming a licensed or registered nurse.....so eventhough you hate it...for now you just have to be in love with it and even be married to it for a while then after you pass the monster you can divorce it , you notice, iam just trying to cheer you up..(((((((((hugs)))))), its not end of the world and trust me you can try again and pass. please let us know if we can help...

you are welcome. if the trainers was the only reason..you were going to buy the kaplan..then i wouldnt but remember that kaplan has 1200 questions in the question bank plus the sample questions for practice that is very helpful..all the best

just wanted to add that, it may look like alot of ppl but remember everyone studying on different schedules/time so its not all ppl at one time studying...just a thought all the best

Thanks...i sent you the email...just follow the Hurst outline...topic by topic..or system by system... make a folder and follow alone as you do your Hurst review...also look up any medication you are not familair with..knowing the side effects ...what time to take the meds what to take with the meds and any strictions is the most important things to remember when looking at meds. ..and practice as many questions as you can..read the rationales most important. Even with so many years out of school you can take and pass the exam. you definitely need to reflesh on your content and practice as many questions since its been so long since you graduated. i dont know materials you are using but its alot of free things posted on this website that has proved helpful to many. what review course are you using? all the best..stay focused is the key word..you can do.
