I took NCLEX-RN and just got a thin envelope in the mail. Did I pass?

Specializes in Cardiac Step down/ LTC.

According to my crystal ball since this was your 8th time taking the NCLEX, it doesn't look like you passed. Sorry, you just did not have enough SATA and only had 75 questions. Maybe the 9th time is the charm! Don't you give up on your dreaaaammm, you can do it!!

Disclaimer: my children were playing with my crystal ball yesterday and dropped it, so I could be wrong. Just try the PVT and put your credit card info in. What's the big deal about loosing(intentional) $200!! LOL

Specializes in Pediatrics.

It's always a thin envelope just open it to find out!

Wait-is the envelope from your BON? If not, it doesn't mean anything. Don't open it!

Well, my Archie McPhee "Dr. Freud Magic 8 Ball" says I passed, but I will have issues with my mother for the rest of my life. It also said that sometimes an NCLEX result is just an NCLEX result.

Ayyy...fish or cut bait?

Do Not, I repeat Do Not open the letter!! First, get a micrometer to measure the exact thickness of the envelope. Thin to some is thick to others. Spend time searching the Internet to see how thick an envelope with one sheet of paper vs two, three, etc., would be.

Tomorrow, remeasure the letter. Compare your measurements with yesterday's. Go to the neighbor's house and ask them to measure. If you do not get the same exact measurement, ask someone else to measure.

Monday, the Post Office is closed so have your friends guess if the letter

a) is from the board of nursing b) if it is thick or thin to them c) if you passed or failed.

Tuesday, go to the Post Office and have them weigh the letter estimating whether they think there is one page or more of paper in there. Ask them to guess on what weight paper the letter was written. Ask them where the post mark originated and if the sender placed the correct amount of postage on the letter. While you're there, ask them why postage continues to increase but the mailman can't tell you whether you passed or failed.

When you are done at the Post Office, go home and check your BON site or pay for quick results. If your results only come by snail mail, repeat the above steps, but Do Not Open the letter!

I got one! 20% off at Crazy Scrubs. Does that mean I passed? I think it did, why else would they want me to buy scrubs?
