Navarro ADN-RN program Fall 2012

Hi Everyone :)

Just wanted to start a thread for everyone that's applied to the Navarro College ADN-RN program starting Fall 2012.

Figured we needed a place to post, ask each other questions etc. while waiting on our acceptance letters..... I was told they won't be sent out until the end of May. Has anyone else heard otherwise?

I got the same thing. I also registered on April 19. Have the receipt to prove it. I emailed them and haven't gotten a response. :-( Sooo glad to hear Im not the only one. Lol. Thanks for the info Red!

I received the same email, called SurScan - they said there was an error with the websites and they had already taken care of it. I went ahead and resent a copy of my receipt to Mrs. S.

Sounds to me like they sent that email to everyone. Hopefully they get it sorted out soon.

Does anyone know if we have to wear something specific to orientation?

I wasn't told to. She just said that the room could be either cold or warm, and to be prepared for both :)

No gum only applies to clinicals. You can have it in class. :)

It's cold! Bring a jacket or blanket. It's 100 degrees out but we freeze in lecture.

WOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks mom!!!!!!!! :hug: :) I'm glad you have us underneath your wings. :) I think I'll wear scrub pants with some kind of shirt...I really came to love scrub pants when I was volunteering, not too sure why. This might be a ridiculously silly question, but what kinds of shirts match/go with scrub bottoms? I feel lame for asking, but I honestly don't know! :thankya:

LOL Tim :) whatever matches the pants... If they are black, you can wear any top (except solid black shirt, then you look morbid hahah) I love scrubs too!! When I chose nursing over business admin/CGA, the scrubs are what won me over LOL no joke! They are soooo comfy :) like hanging out in PJs all day!!

You're quite right! Literally just like pjs. :) The hospital I was volunteering at was always super cold, and the pants just totally kept the cold out. Everyone should wear scrubs.

Hey mom, what do most people wear on lecture days? I think Mrs. _____________ said something about wearing any coloured scrubs with any design, but I can't remember.

Woohoo!! I'm excited about tomm. It may be a long drawn out day, but I'm stoked. Lol. TIM, anything matches black. I've honestly never worn scrubs. This is a first for me. :)
