Hi Everyone :)
Just wanted to start a thread for everyone that's applied to the Navarro College ADN-RN program starting Fall 2012.
Figured we needed a place to post, ask each other questions etc. while waiting on our acceptance letters..... I was told they won't be sent out until the end of May. Has anyone else heard otherwise?

Congratulations dreamer2011!!!!!!!! I applied for the ADN program, and we're still waiting to find out. :)
So I heard today that the Generic Applicants should find out in about 3 weeks!!! YAY
OH WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU JUST MADE MY DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :))))))))))))))) So so so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Does this mean they'll send them out some time in like 2-2 1/2 weeks?
I'm not positive. I was told they would be done figuring the generic applicant scores in about 3 weeks :) which is way better than the end of May!! I am so antsy now... I can't hardly wait to know if I'm in or not! We have the same amount of points Tim, so we are in this together :) eeeeeeeek I'm so excited.
Oh my goshhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :))))))) It's like the butterflies are swarming in my stomach! I'm not sure how I'll react...it's gonna be so hard to not say anything to my mom until she gets back from work (she's been a nurse for 15 years now). We are in this together, and we both should make it in easily.
This is kind of random and a bit late, but if you look on this site there are people that are saying their TEAS score is really high (like near perfect). I'm assuming they're talking about the old TEAS and not the TEAS V...So since the TEAS V is harder, does that mean Navarro's minimum score acceptance on the test is different?
Good question. I haven't searched it, but do know that Navarro doesn't have a minimum acceptance score per-say. I was told not to bother applying if my score was below the National mean (which is 70.5 in Reading- and the Reading portion is all that is tested at Navarro)
I am SO HAPPY that we don't have to wait till May to find out our fate
Well I mean we scored really high on it (higher than the national average by a long shot), so maybe scores that were lowish will help weed out a bunch of the people who applied (somewhere between 300-500 i'm sure, maybe more). I'm personally glad it was just reading, because it has always been one of my strong points (I wasn't happy that my score was so low at first).
LOL Me too!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's only a matter of a couple weeks now..then days...then BOOM we find out if we'll be or . lol :thankya:
