Hi Everyone :)

Just wanted to start a thread for everyone that's applied to the Navarro College ADN-RN program starting Fall 2012.

Figured we needed a place to post, ask each other questions etc. while waiting on our acceptance letters..... I was told they won't be sent out until the end of May. Has anyone else heard otherwise?

I have a question for anyone who paid online- When does web advisor recognize that your payment was made, process it, and show the amount as $0.00? I just paid online for the first time...so I've no idea what to expect. :p

Red my file was complete so I did not have to go in for my file check. I have not received any emails regarding the schedule for orientation though. I have already purchased my 3 inch binder and page protectors so I will bring that along with all all of my file info just in case they decide my file is not complete for whatever reason. For whoever needs their immunizations updated, the Corsicana Health Department does immunizations as well as TB testing. I still have a few books to purchase, my shoes and stethoscope but other than that I'm ready!!!!!

My file was 100% complete too :) I don't know why I wasn't contacted to say not to come in, but I actually wanted to go LOL. We get 2 ATI books and still have to sign all of their paperwork... so, I suppose that will be taken care of at Orientation...

They won't vaccinate you if you have health insurance. (Just a FYI)

Thanks Red. Don't really know why I had to go to file check mine was done too. I wanted to go too though lol. She was really busy so she prob forgot to give me schedule.

I didn't get anything at my file check either. :-( Can you send it to me also Red? :) Raeann, she was super busy that day. It was nice meeting you. :) Can't wait til Wed. I know its just orientation, but I'm stoked! Lol.

SENT :) I tried messaging it to you here, on AN, but it wasn't coming up in my "sent" folder. So, if you get 5 messages from me, that's why LOL

So... I rec'd an email from the program co-ordinator this morning. It was a generic email sent to everyone that supposedly hadn't registered and paid for the SurScan drug testing. Fired me right up LOL I paid/registered on April 19th!! So, I called SurScan (google for #) and rectified the issue. The lady I spoke with stated that I'm not the first one from our program to call in this morning with the same issue either.

Red-- I got the same email and I too had registered with surscan on April 19. Calling Surscan now.
