Greetings! Wondering if there are others who will be applying/have applied for Cohort 56, which would begin October 2018!
If anyone is out there, hopefully this thread will a serve as a place to ask questions, provide insight/advice, vent, celebrate, wallow, etc. :)
For my situation, my prereq's are completed, and have recently completed the TEAS. I submitted the application (which was crazy quick and easy to my surprise), and am just waiting for a date to take my proctored essay.
Hope to speak with fellow applicants of cohort 56 soon!

Hello! I'm also applying to cohort 56. I did score that high on my teas. Especially the science portion. Any suggestions on what I should study? I have the mometrix study guide but it was different from what was on the TEAS. If we retake the TEAS is there a limit or can we take it as many times as we want? Good luck everyone!
The science was my most difficult section too, so I feel ya! I used the mometrix book which helped a lot, but I highly recommend buying the practice test A&B bundle from the ATI website. Expensive, but very similar to the actual exam and it made me feel the most prepared. I'm not sure about how many times you can retake though.

I do agree in getting the online practice exam cuz it's good practice, but I think that ATI TEAS pocket prep app was a lot more helpful in my opinion. I also watch YouTube videos from the CrashCourse channel. They have a whole playlist of videos dedicated to human anatomy and physiology. :)
Hey there! I have also applied for cohort 56! I had a 3.733 GPA and a 78.3 teas score. I retook the teas last week and got a new score of 89.3%! I'm not sure how I did on my essay but I'm really hoping it was enough to at least get an alternate spot. I would prefer to be accepted into the cohort, but I'll take it! Haha good luck to everyone else applying!
Hi all!I applied for Cohort 21 in Fresno! I started a thread for the Fresno group, but still no comments! I figured I could wait with you guys, during this dreadful 3 weeks!
Hello!
Welcome to the group! We can all be anxious together! How do you feel about your application if you don't mind me asking?

You can take the TEAS as many times as you want outside of National and turn in your best score. At National you can only test 3 times. Hope this helps. :)

Wow. congrats. I took my writing portion yesterday as well and the question that was ask is what characteristic, and skills do you possess can you contribute to the Nurse profession. I hope they do not mark down too much for proper grammar. Lol because one hour is not enough to write, and create ideas and proofread.
