Scripps New Grad Residency 2020 October
I have a few cohort mates that got a rejection letter. One was external and chose surgical at encinitas/la jolla and the other was internal and chose mercy/ CV. Has anyone heard of anyone else getting rejected? My status still says "submission received" but also says "Accepting job submissions" under job status. Does anyone's say anything differently?

Scripps New Grad RN June/August 2020
Hi there! Would anyone mind sharing what they know about the New Grad hiring process? Do they pool candidates based on their unit/hospital choices or on their resumes first? Do some units have more positions open than others? The options for this round are Medical, surgical, tele/DOU, and Encology. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!!

National University SD Cohort 55 - July 2018
I am going to have to try from my computer because it isn't even giving me an option to message you. This really is amazing advise and I am so incredibly grateful! I work in transport at Scripps Mercy so I have some background. However, I am transport/lift team so it is limited to what I know to ask haha I already have a stethoscope and have the scrub cheats cards! I'm also a work horse when it comes to school so I am trying not to underestimate the workload. Thanks so much for all of the help! What cohort are you?

That is such great advice! I'm stressing out for sure! You say don't buy the books, and that the lectures (except pharm) are useless for information? Where do I learn things? Haha

National University SD Cohort 55 - July 2018
Hey y'all! I am cohort 56 and am gearing up to start in October! I was wondering if there is anything you could tell me about the critical thinking test that we take during preorientation? Not specifics, but just what it is exactly- I can't find any information about it on ati's website. Also, any wisdom that you could pass on about things you wish you had known before starting, things we should pick up to help get started, or what to expect when we finally get started would be so GREATLY appreciated! Thanks in advance!

National University (San Diego) Cohort 56: October 2018
Hey guys! I got in!! I had a GPA of 3.722, teas of 89.7, and idk what I got on my essay but if the cutoff was an 87 I must have gotten at least a 3.5. I totally thought I bombed the essay! So happy! Can't wait to meet you all!

National University (San Diego) Cohort 56: October 2018
Hey there! I have also applied for cohort 56! I had a 3.733 GPA and a 78.3 teas score. I retook the teas last week and got a new score of 89.3%! I'm not sure how I did on my essay but I'm really hoping it was enough to at least get an alternate spot. I would prefer to be accepted into the cohort, but I'll take it! Haha good luck to everyone else applying!

@kassansdra99 I will be done with BST this month giving me a few weeks before the application. @mr_edwino I have attended the nursing forum and am finishing up my prereqs right now but will be ready to apply by the April 20th deadline. I am going for the generic entry program. I'm not 100% sure how to calculate my GPA if it is different than the normal way. Thanks for responding!!
