2 days ago about noon time, I was out buying Jewelry for my wife. I had the onset of chest pain radiating up into my neck and left arm. I took 5 325 mg aspirins and a couple of nitro I had , pain getting worse and diaphoretic. Drove straight to the hosp. I work at. Only a 5 minute drive. 30 minutes later I was in the cath lab having 2 stents put in. My RCA was totally occluded.
No wonder they are a Certified Cardiac Care Center. Stopped the MI before any damage was done. Top notch ER I work at.Now I am home typing this.
Cool huh.
ready to go golfing as soon as the Cath hole in my groin is ready
Lets Tee It UP
yes this is an ER Forum thread
Fortunately they are now all grown. I do worry about the 7th though she is in the Army. She came home on her 18th birthday and told us she had signed up. My wife didnt like that atall. But she is a good kid.I was thinking the same thing!(Of course, given the number of chilluns that Tom and the missus has, she deserves them) Yes she does, very much so. See I am well trained.
Please keep the kidlets from jumping up and down on your lap for a while and get better.
Wow Tom! What a weekend, huh? Get back to the golf course but take your time coming back to work. I'm sure you've got hours & hours of PTO!
Tom is the picture of 'stress reduction' as long as he gets his golf quota. He's as cool as a cucumber through any kind of situation!
Kudos to our ED, Cath Lab, & PCU for taking care of one of our own!
My first thought when I read the post was of those people who go out and order a big meal and then have a heart attack before the bill comes. I was wondering if you got out of the store with the bling, or did they make you hold off to sign the credit card slip?
Glad to have you up and around Tom.
