My Great Reality Check

Published

I checked on jobs available around here (SC) and have found out that I have picked a great career! There are tons of RN and LPN jobs available at my two small town local hospitals not to mention the drs offices. I'm so excited that I picked this field. It looks like I will love my job and I will have plenty of jobs to choose from. The local hospital will even pay for my tuition if I will promise to work for them when I'm done with school. That means no loans!!

Now that I typed all that, I know some of you will try to burst my bubble, but facts are facts. No bubble bursting the facts.:jester::nurse::D:D

I really know you mean well, but since your post is a direct response to the other post, why not voice your opinion there? It just seems as though a post with this title is meant to stir the pot...just sayin'.

OK I'll try to remove it. Just trying to up the mood. Can't be negative here without being knocked, and it seems you can't be positive either. Sorry.

Chicagoing, I haven't been able to figure out how to remove my post. I apologize.

...but I am happy I'm in nursing...but I'll try to keep it quiet...

You don't need to remove anything. :) A little positivity never hurt anyone. It's always nice to see posts other than "Blah Blah Blah College Hopefuls" seriously...... aren't there regional boards for a reason?

As for what you wrote, this is what I think.......

Totally agree with you, stefanjoy. I also thought that was what the regional section was for.

Thank you Jingles and stefanyjoy, I worried all night about not being able to remove my post. I began coming to allnurses for encouragement in my journey but lately have been telling myself to try to stay away for a while because I'd always feel down about something after reading posts. I guess I'm just trying to remind myself that I've made the right decision. It's hard when it's a second career decision like it is for me. Thanks again!

I don't think this post should be moved either. This is the kind of positivity that we need. Why not ask those who post negative comments to move their posts to somewhere like...oh i don't know... a personal journal? I really appreciate the post and a love to read this first thing in the morning. :)

I agree with everyone else, it is nice to have to upbeat positive outlook. I am stressed out enough as it is trying to get into BSN programs and reading most of the posts puts a lot more pressure on me. I am really happy for you that everything is going so well.

:yeah::yeah::yeah::yeah::yeah::yeah::yeah::yeah::yeah::yeah::yeah::yeah: YAYYYYY FOR YOU ! I'M FEELING THE SAME POSITIVE VIBES (-) THE PLENTIFUL JOB MARKET PART BUT :yeah:STILL .

dont remove it!

im so ready for some HAPPY posts too!

You don't need to apologize or lie awake at night thinking about this. Positivity is great, of course. I don't think your post was wrong or anything like that and I certainly did not mean to imply that it was.
