My Family Tragedy: Passing of Showbizrn's Brother

I share my family loss with the Allnurses.com community for guidance and insight.

My brother died alone in his apartment.

No one called 911.

The day before

a neighbor heard him moaning

all day in his aprtment.

Why didn't she call 911?

The super called to him

under his door.

He never came to the door.

Why didn't she call 911?

Why didn't they call 911?

Every one has their time

to leave this life.

My family and I question the circumstances

surrounding my brother's death

and pray that he has moved on

to the next level.

Thank you for the clarification.

Could staff please change the thread title to read, "Brother of ShowbizRN". Very misleading to those friends with Showbiz and thinking she has passed. I recieved an email earlier today that a longtime member of the AN community had passed and it was ShowbizRN.

My sympathies to Showbiz on the loss of her brother. Please know you are in our prayers.

Thanks sirI, that clarifies the original post. I, too, didn't quite understand who had passed.

I belonged to another forum once, and one of the members had an identical twin sister who knew her sister posted on the forum, and she started a thread to let others know that her sister had been killed in a tragic car wreck. She posted a news clip link and ended up sharing photos of them growing up and so forth.

I'm so sorry to ShowBiz for the loss of her brother.

Thank you for the clarification. I still meant every word of what I said earlier regarding my condolences and the lessons learned, except now I direct it at ShowbizRn. Understandable how this misunderstanding could have happened since she was so distraught.
