Hi all arizona nurses :)

Thought I would introduce myself I am at present a UK RN but am in the process of moving to USA, Phoenix Arizona to be more precise. Had an interview with St Joesephs last monday and recieved a start date of January 2006 :uhoh3: I know it seems a long way of, but all the immigration paper workd takes forever  .

Moving to arizona with my husband and two teenage girls :coollook: we are really excited and wondered if there are any nurses out there who would like to tell me of their experiences with living and working in Arizona.

Now come on on't be shy  if your lke me carn't stop me talking once I start :rotfl: .

Hi

I only have the NCLEX, did go through wether needed both etc but was informed only the Nclex was reqiured :) as I believe is the case in most states now.

Even though I already had a job offer in Phoenix was originaly licensed in New Mexico. The rational was NM process much quicker

Have been following your progress for a while, have you now been allocated a job in Phoenix?

Still not had phase one approval yet :angryfire carnt believe its taking so long.

Have been told will be out in Phoenix Jan-march 2006 fingers crossed everything will go smoothly.

did get approval but hospital backed out :angryfire had to start all over again with immigration and refile. so waiting all over again

Just want to get out there

best of luck on your journey

HI

Have you had any luck finding another hospital?

St Joes in Phoenix are building a new tower extension to the hospital and are recruiting heavily, they might be worth a try :)

It is a big concern that the hospital will get fed up of waiting because of the time delay, but hopefuly now only have another maximum 5 months to wait :balloons: then its party time

Dont have any idea why theres no news and what the delay is :angryfire told to reduce my house in july which I did because medicals etc were almost there. Not sure what your delay is...............things are currently being processed much faster right now, but also depends on when your agency paid the bill.

HI all,

Just another update. As you can see I am still in the UK:bluecry1:

We still have not received my I-140 even though the Vermont processing date is up to September and mine was filed some time in May 2005, have no idea what the delay is, keep being told another 2 weeks and it will arrive, but that was from December:madface:

A friend of mine was told last night the I-140 wont be hear till March at the earliest.

Received a letter from O'Grady peyton stating my travel date was now November:eek: Have moved from my house and am in rented accommodation at present. Cant bare the thought of being hear another winter.

Will keep you all updated.

Sorry for sounding a bit down:( but carnt help it at the moment.

GRRRRRRRRR.

Thank goodness patience is a virtue. It took so long to get all our police clearances because between hubbie and I we've lived in England, Canada, Germany and Cyprus.

Our paperwork is now winging it's way to NVC so who knows how long it will take now!!

I'm currently in Horwich, kind of between Bolton and Preston. I work per diem at Chorley and have a Clinical Support Specialist job 20 hours a week.

Hi

My first house was in Horwich near the fire station of chorley new rd, so small world.

Very fed up trouble is I have no patience what so ever LOL
