Worked with a nurse named Lucy and she swears that she once dated a Charlie Brown. :rotfl:
In hs the band conductor was Bob Evans and in college the swim coach was Dave Thomas. No wonder I was always hungry :chuckle
Work with Wayne _______ II. He insisted everyone call him Wayne the Second so we all started calling him Two.
I went to college with a woman who started her family a little late in life. After she had the baby, she showed up on campus to introduce us all to "Candy Kane
Lane". Yes, she had unfortunately decided her husband's last name was justification for "such a cute name". Did I mention she was a blonde?
Once had a student named Noelle Noel.
Had a patient name a baby Chance Adream (last name not included) and one patient name her baby Ms. Kay. I tried to explain to her the "Ms." would be added anyway and it was not necessary for her first name to be Ms. Kay, but she kept it. Also knew of a baby being named Dan Quayle because the mom had "heard that name somewhere." Also, in OB we always collected the birth certificates...I had a few moms "name" their children something that the name didn't actually spell...but I guess that is their right!
I've heard a social worker can be called when babies are given mean or vindictive names. Urban legand, or has anyone seen this happen?

I have 3 distant cousins, sisters to each other, named Tanya, Tamra, and Tasha.
Tanya and Tamra not too unusal, but I never liked the name Tasha.
I have a coworker named Coral.
