Car-dee-ya-zem.
It's car-di-zem. Or dil-ti-ya-zem.
Cardiazem isn't a real thing.
Can I get an amen?!
Whoever invented pronunciation in the English language was either drunk or willfully malicious. You all have NO IDEA what we poor ESL speakers go through.
"And lo, when the Romans did perceive that Sebastius had invented English rules of pronunciation, they fetched him outside the city gate and smote him sore with arrows, so that he died" (Andronicles 49:50, KJV).
DI-A-BEET-US!!! Makes me crazy.
And in a recent nursing note, I read (patient with concussion) "Patient is able to do cereal addition". Really? Cheerios + Raisin Bran = ?
Really??? And as far as not correcting people, nursing notes in particular are legal documents. Misspellings and poor grammar are unprofessional and make one look uneducated. Just my opinion.

In daily life:
Too many to mention. The book that brought me and my husband together was "Eats, Shoots and Leaves". It was like two geeks meeting their gaze across a Mensa convention.
Contimeter. My autocorrect even knows that's just wrong.
How people talk doesn't really bother me except that not a word.
Not mispronounciations, but I've noticed regional differences in word choice. I'm in the northern US but have family in many different regions of the country. We say "push" / they say "mash"
(as in push the button)
We say "quit misbehaving or quit acting up" / they say "quit being ugly"
(as in reference to a child's behavior)
We say "you all" or "you guys" / they say "y'all"
We say "couch" / they say "sofa"
We say "pop" / they say "soda"
I had a lady say that I was mashing her arm.I was like , what?? oh ,im pushing on her arm. I apologized of course. I'm a northerner lol
How bout davenport ,lol
I'm an OLD northerner, lol
