Hello,
I've been searching through the message boards and I just can't find much information on people who go/have gone to the nursing program at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas. I was wondering...what was your entering GPA? What was your NET score? How did you like it? What hospitals did the school use for classes? Do you feel like you got a good education there?
Thanks so much!
Sarah
Unfortunately, I've only heard of it being a 2.5 year course with prerequisites and concurrent courses that insure it stays that way. Anything worth having is worth working hard for...just a thought meant to encourage not to discourage.
Also Ali523 and Rha_Hea huge CONGRATULATIONS to you!!!
I'm planning on attending too. Does anyone know if the stafford and pell money will cover tuition and housing? I am wondering how much loan and grant money I can get, if I get the maximum. Currently I get about $5,250 in stafford and $1,200 in pell grants per semester. And I go to a community college. I am worried about paying for this. Does anyone think they will live on campus? I would prefer to, but feel like I'll be too old to live in campus housing.
Hi Everyone,
I'm so excited..I got accepted......I'm currently living in Lawton, Oklahoma, and will probably be moving up to Wichita Falls, Tx in Fall 2010, and I was wondering if 1) Anyone is looking for a roommate from Fall 2010-May 2012? 2) If anyone knows a good area to live around there that doesn't cost an arm and a leg? I was thinking between 450-700 per month on rent for a 1 and 1/2 bathroom, 1 bedroom aptment? I prefer furnished since I don't currently have any furniture, thanks in advance...and just to piggyback on elf girl's post if anyone knows about scholarships for a non-minority person, please let us know...also in regard to elfgirls post...I'm not entirely sure but on campus housing is usually more than aptments in town, but if someone knows otherwise please let us know...oh also I did contact the nursing advisor and she did confirm that the program is a 2 and a half year s long (5 semesters)
