Hello,
I've been searching through the message boards and I just can't find much information on people who go/have gone to the nursing program at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas. I was wondering...what was your entering GPA? What was your NET score? How did you like it? What hospitals did the school use for classes? Do you feel like you got a good education there?
Thanks so much!
Sarah
Really? Letters maybe in a couple of weeks? Uh oh....my stomach feels sick! lol Prayers and blessings to all of us, and that we get in. We certainly want it badly enough. That's got to count for something! Maybe we should form like a "prayer - vibration - frequency" circle...all of us send those vibes to MSU at the same time...do the hokey-pokey..or..something for good luck! Anything! lol My life depends on it...seriously!
Yeah, we do need to be mindful, verrry mindful. Everybody knows everybody or somebody who does, or married to that "somebody's" cousin, and such. We "grasshoppers" have much to learn...lol... like secret code! Yeah, that's the ticket cause this does seem Mission Impossible-ish! Our apologies to the great web-wizards behind the magic green curtain. Hope we didn't get you in trouble. Cause we love you, man! This site saved my life back in 2007! And I'm so grateful to have "chat" friends...I'm old, single, son in Iraq, daughter in Florida, (and that's my entire family...)...but, I'm thinking about getting a dog! What do you think about "Spike"????? Ring a bell??? lol Hey! Didn't I read where MSU needed psychiatric patients? If this nursing thing don't work out...I'll be the old goof ball lying in bed watching TV while ya'll work! lol Maybe I should go on over cause this is giving me some sort of "spurious" syndrome.
To Pretty Ladie,
I had a question about the schedule: If accepted into Midwestern, I'm considering taking a job that's hours are 3pm-11p.m, my question for you are 1) Are the classes set at certain times or are they pretty flexible? 2) Is it possible to take the nursing courses from 8a.m-1 p.m 3) For my G.I bill benefits I have to be going to school full time, does the semesters equal out to at least 12 hours each semester?, thanks in Advance, Angela
HELP!
Good News: I actually got my acceptance letter from MSU today for the Spring nursing program.
Bad News: I caught "swine" flu from my microbiology professor and ended up missing one lab, and he kicked me out (told me I had to withdraw...so, kicked out, right?)
Micro is a prerequisite (that's not spelled right, sorry...), so HELP! What can I do?
Grasping for straws here.....
Thanks for your reply. They won't let me re-enroll. I don't know why they made me withdraw. I couldn't find a legitimate reason, according to policy. But, as I have found, they can do anything they want. Go over their head, and you open up a can of worms, ya know?
I'm afraid to "speak" to anybody. What if I just enroll in the next class offered? Anything online accepted at MSU?
I can't believe this happened. It was my professor that had "swine" flu, and gave it to me...there was absolutely no reason I should have had to withdraw.

Hey Everyone,
Just an update, I emailed the advisor to find out how many people applied for the Spring 2010 semester she told me 260, but not all applicants will be considered because of their applications not being compliant......
