:welcome: Gonna try to stick this one!!! Heres to a wonderful semester for all us MBers :):welcome:
I guess everyone has his/her own set of interest, but so far, we are studying mainly viruses, bacteria, and other disease causing pathogens. I love it so far. It is very interesting.
We already had our first test and I am off to a pretty decent start so that is pretty exciting. That being said, its kinda boring, at least to me thus far. Anyone else? I have heard from a bunch of people how awesome Micro is...I am waiting...
Am using the Tortora/Funke/Case Micrbio text and am wondering where I can find the answers to the purple "Figure Legend Questions." The purple questions also appear at the end of a section. I understand that they are suposed to be simple/self explanatory and the answer should be found in the preceding text or graphic....but in a couple cases the answer could be open to interpretation. Anybody out there have any sugestions?
Well I had my first day of micro yesterday. I really think I am going to enjoy it, I like the instructor alot she seems really good very friendly and has an obvious interest in the subject matter.
Its going to be alot of work though, of course i knew that getting into it but boy oh boy I am getting a reality check now. I am taking AP102 and this class everyone says don't I see why now, I had major anxiety over it last night. I am going to try and get in a routine here next week and see how it goes. The problem with AP2 is you know how bad it can get after coming out of ap1. I did great in that class but boy it was a ton of work and I hear 2 is even more so. I liken it to having a 2nd child its all fine and dandy when your pregnant but when you go into the delivery room the 2nd time you have flash backs of your first birthing experience and think WHAT AM I DOING? hehehehehe.

He claims to have made that mistake on the carbon because he was up the whole night watching infotelevision. What the heck? :rotfl:
Another thing that irritates me about this teacher is that he uses thin red ink rather than black ink. Okay...how good is your vision way back of the class? :chair:
