Microbiology Spring 2007

:welcome: Gonna try to stick this one!!! Heres to a wonderful semester for all us MBers :):welcome:

I love microbiology. I hated regular biology but for some reason i love micrbiology. Maybe it's the teacher i have. Teachers can make all the difference if you have a good one. I think it's going to be a good course. Good luck to all of you. I hope you do well. :)

Micro's fun when we're actually doing something in the lab. Yesterday, we got to play with the Proteus Mirabilis (causes UTI if you didn't know), Pseudomonas(common in plants I think), and Lactobacillus bacterias.

My Physiology class? It's more like an art's and crafts class.

I am loving Micro this semester. Have had one lecture and one lab quiz so far and aced both. Our Prof is awesome. Last semester while driving to A&P I was contemplating driving off the bridge to put myself out of my misery, this semester I can't get to class fast enough..what a difference!! :)

Had 2 quizes today and we finally got to "play" with the microscopes. Pretty fun so far. We will get our quiz results come Wednesday. I can't wait :-P

We had 2 quizes in one day because school was cancelled due to "inclement weather". It was only rain :chuckle

I am so nervous about this first test! My prof. rushes through our lectures so I feel like we are teaching ourselves the material from the book. :( Another bad note is that we are being graded on a 3.0 grading scale. So, I guess I have to try my hardest! Then there is my crazy psych teacher, I think she has it in her head that her class is the only class anyone is taking. I figured that by taking it a night there would be less 'busy' work but I guess I was mistaken.

Anyways, how is everyone else doing? Remember, we are in this together :)

I think every instructor believes that their class is the only class you are taking. Either that or it is at least THE priority.

Hi everyone! I'm taking Microbio this semester too. It's a difficult class but so interesting (as I'm sure you all know)
