Hi All,
I would like to get your honest opinion on one quick thought.
What do you think of men that wear a printed scrub top?
Should they be for only women only or are they some styles that are okay for men to wear?
What about for those doctor offices where everyone (men & women) wear the same style?
Suesquatch, would that be the "honey" pot?
:lol2:
"Well," said Pooh, "what I like best -- " and then he had to stop and think. Because although Eating Honey was a very good thing to do, there was a moment just before you began to eat it which was better than when you were, but he didn't know what it was called.
I love Pooh quotes. For a bear of very little brain, he is rather wise!
QUOTE=rn/writer;4259394]Most of the men I see wear solid colors, but come opt for sports logos or geometric prints. A few wear the cartoony stuff. Doesn't bother me as long as it fits properly.
So Scooby Doo too tight across the tummy would be a no-go? btw I agree about fit! For the ladies as well. If your too tight scrub top rides up to the point someone can set a tray on your butt shelf, go up a size, please!!
Well then, what you would you do if went into a doctor's office and all of the ladies and then men had to wear that top with red pants?
What about men wearing this scrub..
. . .And, just an aside, I used to be a figure skater and ice dancer. I have seen guys wear some very "feminine" things and look just fine; however, I think even the most feminine figure skating clothing is cut in such a way to flatter a man's body vs. a woman's.
Well now that's just cool. . .can you get me tickets to see Evan Lysacek? Ha ha kidd-ing. I love the ones with jewels sewn on to that flesh-tone mesh- gorgeous!
I do sew, notsomuch lately, but the novelty prints at JoAnn . . . a money print scrub worn to the yearly performance review, perhaps?
TexanJLN- the dress? Only if you get your legs waxed.

I don't know Evan. But I used to skate with Johnny Weir. We actually started skating at the same club at the same time. He was way ahead of me within weeks. Some people are just naturals! And, he is the perfect example. His skating outfits are not exactly...masculine...but they are not designed for a softer female body because of how they are cut and sewn.
When I was in nursing school in 2000 I met some very masculine male nurses who wore Batman printed tops or Nascar that they had made for them. It was well received by the patients on oncology.
The Pooh print cited above for a man? Why not a solid red with Pooh on a sleeve or pocket to fit in with with any theme an office or floor has?
Odd question maybe, but does anyone know if printed scrubs, that are 100% cotton, are able to be dyed?
I’m not sure how the printing process is done. But in photos of these 100% cotton printed scrubs, it doesn’t appear that the fabric is printed in the same manner as a standard graphic T-shirt.
I actually washed a second hand scrub top yesterday and I remember looking at the tag and it said “tumble dry low.” Which basically means you can dry it but on low. I didn’t put it in the dryer though because it was a nice scrub top and I didn’t want it to shrink. It was also 100% cotton. I wouldn’t recommend it. Better safe than sorry. Also with the material it dries relatively quickly by hanging it up.
