I have started a thread in the Immigration for Immigration requirements for Australia/New Zealand
Guys, I heard that it takes too long before the AHPRA issues an approval letter for the bridging program..some of my friends submitted their application last year and until now, they do not receive an approval letter. Do you think it would be better if I will apply in New Zealand for the bridging program since some people told me that the application there is faster, then after taking the bridging course there, I will transfer to Australia for work because they told me that the license in New Zealand is also accepted in Australia. What do you think guys? Thank you..

Do you have at least two years paid working experience as a registered nurse? If not, you are not eligible for NZ. You have 1 year to complete the required CAP (bridge) program in NZ however the waiting lists for the CAP are 18-24 months and NZNC will not grant an extension

Thanks. Anyway, if I submit my application to AHPRA,where do you think is the fastest when it comes to assessment and provision of approval letter? thank you..
All overseas applications are now processed through Sydney. If you send it anywhere else it will still be sent there.
There can no longer be the call of fastest and easiest office of AHPRA. Due to latest criteria and thst all are processed same has caused delays. Have not heard of any overseas nurse being assessed since all this took place.
BTW, NZ license is deemed acceptable qualification due to Transtasman agreement, you wouls still need to apply and get a NMBA prac certificate and Registration.

Hello guys! Do you have any idea if this would just work out fine:
I submitted my Certificate of Good Standing from PRC 2 days ago thru DHL and I have tracked that it was already received in AHPRA NSW. I haven't submitted my AGOS-40 and attachments yet since I'm still waiting for some documents that I need before having everything notarized. I could submit them probably by next week. I'm also currently working on my CHED requirement (Program of Study), which I could be getting anytime this week and I plan to send it right after claiming. It would probably come before I submit my AGOS-40 + attachments! LOL
Good day! Has anybody tried to send their papers to Perth? If you got an LOE from that area, would it still be applicable to other parts of Oz?I am planning to submit my papers there coz they say they process faster.
Thanks in advance!
Have you read post 4060? The comment there is all applications go through Sydney

Hello there:) May I please know if when did you lodge your application? Thank you. I've been already waiting for 5 months and completed the IQNM docs last month. Will I really wait for another 3 months? Thank you.
