Mayo Clinic Nurse Residency (Az) February 2022

Hey, everyone. I know it's pretty early, but I have had my eye on the Mayo Clinic Nurse Residency program in Arizona for a while. I will be graduating in December and plan on applying to their February 2022 cohort. I have seen other threads from previous cohorts that keep up with the process, information, and support each other along the way.

If you are interested in applying to this program, this thread is for you!

About me: I am from out of state, which is why I am pretty anxious to hear more information on the program. I would love to do critical care. I have not seen the residency program posted on the job board yet, so hopefully, we can keep each other updated.

They give you 1 minute to read each question and 4 minutes to answer!

Does anyone know how many applicants have applied? Ahh I just found this thread and I am so excited to see other people who are working with it. I have been freaking out about this. I just completed my initial video interview. Also, is the rochester application still open?

Does anyone have any idea on how long they should take to get back with contacting everyone for 2nd interviews?

I attended their virtual career fair and they mentioned that usually around 300-450 people apply. But hey you got the first interview so that's a good sign! ?

I was so stressed ? The prioritization one got me sweating! I needed more than a minute to comprehend the full scenario so when it automatically recorded me I went ??? hahaha!

When I attended their career fair the recruiters told me 4-6 weeks to hear anything back. But this initial interview came way before that. I'm just gonna assume 4-6 for the next one just to make me feel better. I'll also pick up any calls, scam calls, unidentified number calls, just in case it's Mayo calling ? 

Don't hold me accountable for this one but last time I got a call from them it was an Arizona number.

Hey guys, 

I just finished the video interview. I was pretty nervous the first question but I thankfully calmed down for the rest. It was super simple, and I felt confident in my answers. for the scenario question I hope I read it correctly and my rationales make sense to them, but other than that it went well! thank you so much for the timeline info @potatoz! I will do the same because I usually ignore those phone calls. 

I am excited for all of us and pray we all get selected to move forward with the interview process. ?

Thanks for all the info! And hopefully they speed through this process faster than normal as well. And we definitely be answering any AZ calls ?

Nope ? I'm anxious but staying patient ? The waiting is part of the experience.
