Great idea ? I just requested to join.

I just got the email that said I’m cleared to work so hopefully I’ll get my schedule tomorrow. I didn’t know it can from someone from my unit, but it makes sense.

Did anyone else get their welcome/schedule email? I haven’t gotten mine yet and it’s making me nervous. I had my HR/POPA appt on 01/31 so it’s been 2 weeks and I figured I would have received it by now; especially since we start on Monday.

I think it depends on how comfortable you are moving your test day up. If you feel confident taking it earlier then go for it.

Congratulations to all that have passed the NCLEX, so exciting!! I take mine in a few days and I’m so anxious, my eye has been twitching on/off for a week ?? I’ve just been using UWorld, so I hope it’s enough.

I submitted my app and fingerprints on November 24th ( I applied early so I didn't have to stress about it) and I received my ATT on December 29th. It took forever for the board to receive my affidavit of graduation which the school should have sent on December 17th. When I checked the pearsoneVUE schedule there was only one day/time available, so I took it. However, they do open up spots everyday, so just take what day you can at first and keep checking everyday as other days/times can become available. I've been doing UWorld questions like crazy and my scores are so up & down that it's making me nervous/anxious about passing the NCLEX.

I hope everyone had a great holiday and hope you all have a wonderful new year. I received my ATT a couple days ago. I scheduled to take the NCLEX the end of January, fingers crossed we all pass; I’m nervous ?

I accepted my offer this morning. Working nights on a unit that wasn’t my preference will be tough, but I always knew I wanted to work at Mayo and I’m so happy I get the opportunity to do so. Now I have pass my finals tomorrow ?? and start studying for the NCLEX. I will be using UWorld and prob Mark K.

Right……I wonder how long it would be before we could switch; I hope it’s not 2 years. I prob sound like a jerk bc a lot of ppl really want to work at Mayo and I’m over here with an offer and I’m indecisive.

LOL at “is not that bad”. I know Mayo is excellent and very difficult to get into; that’s what makes the decision so hard. In all honesty, I will prob take the offer bc Mayo is where I really want to be. But I do keep going back and forth, I’m a mess…..LOL

I’m torn; I really want to work at Mayo but at what cost you know. I guess if we both accept we would be working together and maybe could make it more bearable ??‍♀️

I just got my official offer…….7E/nights. I’m kinda bummed as MS wasn’t one of the units of interest. I knew from the start I wanted to work for Mayo because it’s a great hospital and I’ve heard so many good things from ppl who work there. However, I’m not sure I would be happy working nights on MS. I have until Thursday to decide ?

Hi everyone, it's been a minute since I've been on here. First I want to say congratulations to everyone who have received calls and offers. I also received a phone call this morning from the nursing placement office saying HR would be in touch in a week or two with an offer. How exciting for all of us!! I'm not trying to celebrate or get too excited until I receive the official offer call, but I'm still smiling from ear-to-ear. Again, congratulations everyone!! I'm looking forward to working with you.

I haven't gotten a call back either and doubt I will; they have been calling people since last week. I kinda figured I wouldn't make it to the second interview, I'm pretty bummed out about it ☹️ I guess it's time to start applying elsewhere. Good luck to everyone in their future endeavors and congrats to those who got a second interview.
