Hey, everyone. I know it's pretty early, but I have had my eye on the Mayo Clinic Nurse Residency program in Arizona for a while. I will be graduating in December and plan on applying to their February 2022 cohort. I have seen other threads from previous cohorts that keep up with the process, information, and support each other along the way.
If you are interested in applying to this program, this thread is for you!
About me: I am from out of state, which is why I am pretty anxious to hear more information on the program. I would love to do critical care. I have not seen the residency program posted on the job board yet, so hopefully, we can keep each other updated.
Good luck to all of you!

I think it depends on how comfortable you are moving your test day up. If you feel confident taking it earlier then go for it.

thank you!
Super casual and quick. bring vehicle registration form and copy of your BLS.

great! thank you! I also have my occupational health appointment for the drug screen, immunization screen and physical. quick question for you guys, I am going through the required documents and it says a 2 step TB requirement, I haven't done this since 3 years ago because my nursing program only required a 1 step every year once we passed the initial TB 2 step process. is this going to be a problem for mayo? I have to renew by April anyways due to it expiring but I am hoping this won't cause any issues at my occupational health appointment .

It should be fine, especially if your results were always negative. My case is a bit more complicate but I had no issues during my appointment. I think if you did needed something (2nd step or quantiferon) that they’ll do it for you. There will be a blood draw at the end btw ?
Also there will be a mask fitting, I did mine after I finished HR and POPA. I don’t think mask fitting was mentioned in the emails that we got, but we’re supposed to.
The fitting will be in the same building as the HR. Maybe come earlier to the appointment, give yourself 15-20 min orso. I didn’t know about this so there was a lot of walking back and forth for me.

I believe any brand, as long as they're navy. Here is the link I found online: https://cdn.prod-carehubs.net/n1/5c7278cac6946b78/uploads/2018/08/Mayo-Clinic-Dress-Code-UPDATED.pdf
