Hey, everyone. I know it's pretty early, but I have had my eye on the Mayo Clinic Nurse Residency program in Arizona for a while. I will be graduating in December and plan on applying to their February 2022 cohort. I have seen other threads from previous cohorts that keep up with the process, information, and support each other along the way.
If you are interested in applying to this program, this thread is for you!
About me: I am from out of state, which is why I am pretty anxious to hear more information on the program. I would love to do critical care. I have not seen the residency program posted on the job board yet, so hopefully, we can keep each other updated.
Good luck to all of you!
Julie,
Thank you, thank you, thank you for creating this post thread! I am getting married in a few days and then I will be going on my honeymoon from January 30-Feb 5th. I am a little concerned I will miss the four day window ? but I also so deeply pray to be present at my wedding and with my new husband on our honeymoon. Please please please, someone post as soon as they see the 4 day opening for the hiring on this in Feb 2022. I don't want to miss this window but God's knows when it will be and He's in control ❤️

I am sure you will hear something soon! I literally just got my ATT last night and saw the slot for this morning and I took it LOL I just wanted to be done! Make sure to stay in communication with the board, they process things faster in my experience when you check in! I got my ATT before anyone else in my class!

I got 75 questions, 30 select all that apply and I tried the Pearson Vue trick and got the "good" popup. I hope this means I passed! anyone in Arizona know how long it took for your quick results to be posted? ?
Yay! Congratulations! I heard in 48hrs normally or you can pay the $7.95 to see the unofficial results in 48hrs. Which resources did you use?

Well done! I had the same number of questions and was shocked at how many SATAs there were ?. I did and got the good pop-up the same day, and the next day I went to nursys to check if I was assigned a license number, which I was. So the waiting time took around 24 hours which was way faster than I expected ?. I hope you'll know your results soon!

You got this! I graduated in Summer and already did my NCLEX. I only used UWorld and didn't even finish 1000 questions, my average wasn't the greatest :) But I did perform great on the actual NCLEX ?
The layout of the NCLEX is really similar to UWorld's, something about that lowers your stress. Just a quick tip, I made notes based on UWorld's rationales. You start to see patterns and keypoints. And during the NCLEX I would encounter those same keypoints.
Note-taking is time consuming but I prioritized that over doing even more questions. Focus on what you didn't know, rather than what you did know. If it wasn't for notes then I would've forgotten what I previously learned. Keep updating the notes with new key points and review them every couple of days. Read it until you become bored of it. That's how I drilled it into my brain and it helped me with which answer 'felt right' during the exam.
Good luck everyone!
