Hey, everyone. I know it's pretty early, but I have had my eye on the Mayo Clinic Nurse Residency program in Arizona for a while. I will be graduating in December and plan on applying to their February 2022 cohort. I have seen other threads from previous cohorts that keep up with the process, information, and support each other along the way.
If you are interested in applying to this program, this thread is for you!
About me: I am from out of state, which is why I am pretty anxious to hear more information on the program. I would love to do critical care. I have not seen the residency program posted on the job board yet, so hopefully, we can keep each other updated.
Good luck to all of you!
Hey guys! Happy belated Christmas and early New year! I wanted to ask if anyone has received their ATT yet? I called the board yesterday to ask when they will be approving affidavit’s for us December Arizona graduates so we can get our ATT and they said by the end of this week. I keep checking my nurse portal like a maniac LOL but I just want to get this dang thing scheduled!
Congratulations on receiving your ATT! I am hoping to get mine next week! I know the dates for NCLEX are booking up fast, I want to take it here in Arizona to avoid having to travel somewhere but I heard from some friends at ASU that February is already filling up! You’re going to do great on your NCLEX! Don’t even worry, you got this! Now that you have a date in mind- you’ll have even more motivation to study ?
I submitted my application in October and they just put in the affidavit on my nurse portal! I’m sure if you call them they will speed up the process! They are very responsive!
happy new year guys!

I submitted my app and fingerprints on November 24th ( I applied early so I didn't have to stress about it) and I received my ATT on December 29th. It took forever for the board to receive my affidavit of graduation which the school should have sent on December 17th. When I checked the pearsoneVUE schedule there was only one day/time available, so I took it. However, they do open up spots everyday, so just take what day you can at first and keep checking everyday as other days/times can become available.
I've been doing UWorld questions like crazy and my scores are so up & down that it's making me nervous/anxious about passing the NCLEX.
thanks for the helpful info :) It seems like it takes forever to get the ATT once the board accepts the affidavits. Mine was just uploaded to my nurse portal last week and I still have yet to hear from pearson vue, most likely due to all of the holidays. If I don't hear by tomorrow I'm going to call and see if I can expedite it. I'm hoping to take by the end of January, I don't mind traveling if needed.
I have been studying like crazy as well the past few weeks. I am almost through all of the Mark K lectures and only have 800 questions left on UWorld. my score is average 61% in the 85th percentile so im not sure if thats good or bad LOL these questions are a little different than what I am used to with ATI. We are all going to be great! I am just anxious I won't get to take my NCLEX in time because my school took so long sending the affidavits.
