Hey, everyone. I know it's pretty early, but I have had my eye on the Mayo Clinic Nurse Residency program in Arizona for a while. I will be graduating in December and plan on applying to their February 2022 cohort. I have seen other threads from previous cohorts that keep up with the process, information, and support each other along the way.
If you are interested in applying to this program, this thread is for you!
About me: I am from out of state, which is why I am pretty anxious to hear more information on the program. I would love to do critical care. I have not seen the residency program posted on the job board yet, so hopefully, we can keep each other updated.
Good luck to all of you!

Great thank you for the info! This takes so much stress off of me! I will test in ca az or nv! I am beginning my UWorld & mark k studying for NCLEX this weekend!

I spoke to my school advisor handling licensure and my best bet is to cancel the one I had already started in my home state and the fee is not refundable and start the process again with AZBON. You will need to electronically email your transcript and send in your fingerprint on a card. You cannot have two primary license.
Somebody here spoke about live scan for fingerprinting as it is faster but I am yet to confirm that. Can someone please confirm the livescan?

I think the key is registering the exam through AZ, don't forget that part, you cannot register through CA or NV to take the exam.

Yes! Thank you. I live in AZ and went to nursing school here. My application is with the Arizona State Board of nursing as well as Pearson Vue here in Arizona, hopefully I will be able to find the test site here so I don’t need to pay to travel! There’s one in Tucson which is about three hours from where I live, worse comes to worst I will go there the night before and get a hotel and take the exam there! Their testing center usually has tons of dates from what I hear!

And do you have to send the transcript or the school has to send it?
I have emailed my home state BON to cancel my application and called but unfortunately I haven't heard anything back! they are slow and on break until the 13th! Send an email from your portal or call your BON or email the person in charge of your licensure from your school to see what your best bet is.
I also asked my school not send anything to that end.
AZBON has the email you send transcripts and fingerprint to when you start the application.

I honestly think that is better on you. You can be listening to Mark Klimek on your way there ?
How long is your process taking?
That’s true, there’s a positive side to everything ?
so my school is sending the affidavit to the AZ BON that we completed the program today or Monday. It takes 10 days max to get an ATT after that & I am done with my application so I assume I’ll get my ATT Just before or just after Christmas. I will be scheduling the first available date that I can get to! My goal is to have my NCLEX taken by mid January at the latest. The school said expect to test 3-4 weeks from this coming Monday but it may be sooner it’s hard to tell with the holiday!
