apparently, ive been waiting for other people to start a support group for may nclex takers.....but no....so here i am.....

im taking my nclex on the 7th of may...hopefully, i pass this time. im tired of living a non-RN life......

after replying to all the posts here this afternoon..i went to our mailbox and found the big envelope. yep..i tried to see if it's thick like the one i received 4months ago (my 1st take). then i opened it..sorry guys, i guess i'll be the one to break the may momentum..i failed. i failed again for my second take. i had 265 questions with all near the passing standard on my 1st take. and today..my result on my second take is the same with all the near passing standard. i don't really get it! honestly, it didn't even help me, even a hint on which part is my weakness and what would i do improve and pass this test. when i took the test this second time, i feel okay after the test, unlike on my first take. this time i got more sata's, prioritization..i just don't get it! why not even one part of the test i could get "above the passing standard"..

i am so sorry to hear that....i know how it feels because i've been to that situation before...but....life has to go on....try to rest and have fun for now....and when you are ready....take the test again....

i feel for you, i always cry when i read someone has to fail the test...

but dont give up...god has better plans for us...he will give it to you in his perfect time.

i am going to sit for the test on june 3.....i just lift it up to him....

hi gwafuh:nuke: have you seen the program of ncsbn? my friend tried it and it didnt work well for him. he showed it to me and i found it a little boring.maybe because i just dont like reading it through the computer.haha:nuke: and it got me distructed i usually open my mail or ym etc. somequentions are found in kaplan too. but the quizes are good. they're hard.:nuke: like kaplan too.:nuke: good luck to you and don't loose hope yet. you still have the mail if you cant find your name on the BON.:nuke: keep praying:nuke:

has anyone tried suzanne's plan??? it is really very simple but it works. NCLEX is not just about content, its also about application and analysis. You can only achieve this if you are able to know what they look for in an answer...Doing questions everyday is good but you just don't look at the questions per se but you find out the rationale of each and every question regardless if you got it wrong or right. I truly understand how it feels to fail because I also failed last October 2007. It took me a long time to finish the first tip of Suzanne's plan and was done with the 2nd part around a week before my exam date. I started January. Took the test April 18th and found out I passed April 21st. Days before I took the test I also used Mosby's PDA book and Kaplan Strategy Book. Hope this helps...

thank you so much. everyone here is very supportive. yes he's a father to me. he's my only uncle in line with medicine. and though we had a huge age gap, he's still very supportive and he sees me as him before. and im really overwhelmed. i decided to come to his clinic and talk to him. my parents doesn't seem to understand how much pain i had to go through. yes it's easy to say they're supportive financially, but that's not the thing i need the most right now. im being a burden. sorry..can't help but to feel so worried and sad. it really hurts
