Maricopa Waiting List / Placement / Timestamps 2010+

Published

Hey everyone, I wanted to start a place for people to post and repost about waitlist times, placement runs, and their timestamps.

It is very hard searching for all the information and maybe people will access this thread and keep it updated with information so we all can get some idea on where we stand in line for Maricopa Nursing Placement.

As for me I have a

6/11/10 8:01:32 Timestamp. The placement just ran on March 6th,2012 and I was not placed. On the application website it says that the placement did NOT reach the June timestamps. This will mark 5 semesters that I was not placed (was expecting a 3 semester wait)

I am curious how far the placement ran. If people that were placed during the last placement run (3/6/12) come across this thread and would be willing to post their timestamp and what school choice number (1 through 5) they were placed in that would give an indicator how far away it is.

With almost 2500 people still on the waiting list it looks like it can be a 4-5 year wait for people just now getting on it. :(

Look forward to chatting with all of you and good luck.

Last year it was sept 30th for spring placement

Anyone currently in the CEP program? Wondering how difficult it is doing both? What is your school workload like? Any insight would be appreciated :)

I have heard from all ends on this and it really varies by person. Some people think it's really no big deal and not much extra work, others have a hard time doing anything extra on top of the regular course load. If you are focused, motivated, and determined then you will make it through.

Can someone please let me know what a typical block 3 and block 4 schedule is like at CGCC? I am familiar I am familiar with Block 1 and 2 as a couple of friends are going through it. I will be attending a CEP application session in June and am going to apply to either CGCC or GCC weekend day. Thank you in advance.

So how long have you all been waiting? Speaking with the advisor she mentioned that the wait time hasn't been as long as before. 1-2 semesters. Ooooh! I hope so! I am anxious to start!

Got my timestamp today!! 06/05/2015 08:04:00AM

I'll be trying for the CEP through GCC, and I'll be applying for that in February.

Hi there! It's so exciting to finally be applied and on the waitlist! My time stamp is from August 2014 but I just applied for the CEP last week. So I wasn't called off the waitlist (although I only had one choice on mine, the more choices you have the more likely it is for you to get in sooner) but I'll be off it because of the CEP :)

I am starting block one in the Gateway Evening program in August and am looking into buying my books used online. Can anyone who has done this tell me if and where you can separately buy the access codes that are also required?

I'm not sure about the nursing books but I know you can usually buy access codes from the the site that the books use. They sometimes are cheaper that way too.

Congratulations! It is VERY exciting! My time stamp was April 14th and I was already accepted into the CEP program. The wait isn't as long as it used to be which is a breath of fresh air for many who really want to get started on their journey of becoming a nurse! Good luck! :)

I got a time stamp of 4/10/15 8:00:49am. The choices i have is gateway CC Evening, glendale evening/weekend, and glendale weekend day.

My time stamp was August 2014 and I got an email today placing me for Fall.

I'm doing the CEP starting in Jan though so I won't be starting in the Fall placement but just wanted to post to give others an idea of the current wait if you are doing the Associates route.
