Hey everyone, I wanted to start a place for people to post and repost about waitlist times, placement runs, and their timestamps.
It is very hard searching for all the information and maybe people will access this thread and keep it updated with information so we all can get some idea on where we stand in line for Maricopa Nursing Placement.
As for me I have a
6/11/10 8:01:32 Timestamp. The placement just ran on March 6th,2012 and I was not placed. On the application website it says that the placement did NOT reach the June timestamps. This will mark 5 semesters that I was not placed (was expecting a 3 semester wait)
I am curious how far the placement ran. If people that were placed during the last placement run (3/6/12) come across this thread and would be willing to post their timestamp and what school choice number (1 through 5) they were placed in that would give an indicator how far away it is.
With almost 2500 people still on the waiting list it looks like it can be a 4-5 year wait for people just now getting on it.

@Dylansmomm that helps so much! Thank you for also adding in the the info of the day labs:) I do have another question for you, how does it work signing up for the clinicals? I was reading from what gcc has and what I gathered it was you do it when you register for lecture? I am just so excited! It's all I think about lol I can't wait to get my info packet! Oh and from what you've had to select from, are most of the clinical locations on the east side or have there been there been any on the west? Thanks again:)
For signing up we wrote the group number/location on the board and you put your name under what group you wanted. I think each group was 8 and so if more than 8 signed up for any group the teacher would ask for volunteers who could be flexible. If not, the instructor would have to move people around. In our group we were always able to make it work with out the instructor having to step in. We did that during class one night a couple of classes in so not when we signed up for class. For block two we did the same thing but it was done during the end of block one. We pick tomorrow for block 3. As for location we were all over the place lol. Block one there were two LTC facility choices both in the east valley around higley and Broadway. Block two some were at banner thunderbird or good Sam and some were in Scottsdale.

In Gateway evening, when do classes usually end in spring semester for summer?
How can you tell how many people are on the waiting list?

You can call the placement center, but even if they tell you, it doesnt mean much. Its not like a single line of people waiting to get in. the wait depends on your choices and the choices of the people ahead of you.
