Maricopa Waiting List / Placement / Timestamps 2010+

U.S.A. Arizona

Hey everyone, I wanted to start a place for people to post and repost about waitlist times, placement runs, and their timestamps.

It is very hard searching for all the information and maybe people will access this thread and keep it updated with information so we all can get some idea on where we stand in line for Maricopa Nursing Placement.

As for me I have a

6/11/10 8:01:32 Timestamp. The placement just ran on March 6th,2012 and I was not placed. On the application website it says that the placement did NOT reach the June timestamps. This will mark 5 semesters that I was not placed (was expecting a 3 semester wait)

I am curious how far the placement ran. If people that were placed during the last placement run (3/6/12) come across this thread and would be willing to post their timestamp and what school choice number (1 through 5) they were placed in that would give an indicator how far away it is.

With almost 2500 people still on the waiting list it looks like it can be a 4-5 year wait for people just now getting on it. :(

Look forward to chatting with all of you and good luck.

I don't know for CEP but regular placement won't be until October or so for Spring 2016.

Congrats on both of you for getting in. I wonder why it says on the nursing site about the June sessions are for spring 2016? That's where I was confused. I am doing the regular. Thanks! You guys have to let us that are waiting know how the program is going and whatever else! Any feedback I personally would so love!

I got my first and only choice, Gateway Evening!!!! I deferred last semester. My stamp was 12/12.

I got Gateway evening CEP!!! I was hoping for evening versus day!

Didn't the CEP students already know where they were placed? Or do they have to wait for the placement as well?

We were accepted for the CEP and yes they told us which campus we would be at but what we did have to wait on was an official placement into either the day or evening program so that part was up in the air until placement...at Gateway at least.

Ok I see, thanks :)

Received acceptance letter for fall 2015 at MCC, and had timestamp of 6/6/2014 8:00:53. I am declining this semester placement so if you had a choice of MCC and your timestamp is just past mine......look out!

I'm curious if anyone knows when gateway evening program has their clinicals? I know I will find out soon enough, but just wondering.. I know glendale has their schedule posted and the evening/weekend does it on Saturdays, but because of gateway being evening only just wanted to know if people had evening, day, weekend clinicals? I know they say "no guarantee" on one or the other, and I've heard it being about avalibility at the hospitals, but if anyone has any insight from their experience at gateway evening I'd appreciate it

I'm finishing up block 2 at gateway evenings right now and for block one we had 4 Saturday groups and 1 Friday group. It's was 4 weeks and I think we went from 7 to 4(I can't remember the times for sure anymore!). In block two we had 4 Saturday groups and 1 Sunday group and the times depended on the facility but typically it was 7-7 for 6 weeks. We just got our clinical schedule for block three and its kinda a mixture, one group is fri and sat the others are mixtures of sat and Sunday. Keep in mind that clinical rotations are based on availability and can change each semester but that is what my group has had so far. Also there are a couple weekday-daytime labs and simulations sprinkled in. I just mention that because a lot of my classmates work and had to take time off for these days. Hope that helps:)
