Acceptance, MCC Fall 2015 but would like CEP
Honestly your gpa is better than mine was. It seems that at the time just about anyone who applied for the CEP made it in. I have heard though some did not so I can only speculate why. You can always retake the hesi exam to help boost the competition. Regardless apply anyways, you have come this far already. Also reply back on this thread so you can boost your post count!

Acceptance, MCC Fall 2015 but would like CEP
I spoke with the school I wanted to apply at and was allowed to defer a second time. I told them I was placed with the Associates degree program but had been working towards the CEP entry and wanted to go that route. I asked if I should withdraw my application and resubmit and was told to send in an email to the director of the program and explain my situation. I did and heard back the next day. I was able to defer the second time allowing me to submit my application for the CEP. I was only a single course shy of all the required courses and fell into NAU's pilot program. I started the first summer portion this past few months and start block one next week. PM me and I will be more than happy to help in any way possible. Cheers!

Nursing Student & Being A Father
So how do you make it work being a father, current sole provider, and being a nursing student? Any advice from others who have been there and done that?

Reply back from NAU: "Apparently Maricopa has not updated their website, the track below is the only track now offered, so you would be following that course of classes. There will be some in-person components to NUR 307 and NUR 307 Lab and NUR 330 is all in-person course. You would want to contact the instructor specifically in order to gain the details of these in-person components." Thoughts on this??

Am I the only one getting frustrated with the lack of information and or communication with the schools? There is a lot of rumor and hearsay that the course track has changed and still does not follow what is posted. I received an email from an academic advisor with the following revised course track. One concern I have is that it states there is an in person attendance in the NAU north valley. I thought the course work via NAU was entirely online? January CEP applicants?
NAU CEP Update: I got a call this morning in regards to my application I submitted registering to NAU. The letter and contract from the MCCCD instructed us to enroll at NAU as soon as possible. I did this almost a couple of weeks ago. There was no option for the fall 2016 program at the time of this application submission so I went with the only option given. The call I received this morning was from an admissions counselor trying to find out what was going on. Basically if you have not applied online to be admitted to NAU, don't do it yet. The counselor mentioned that NAU should be sending out info detailing what is to be done sometime in the next couple of weeks. There is a fee that collected to submit your application and it will flag the admissions desk, so if you already did what I had done you could expect a call. Just my experience with the situation.

This is the page I was referring to. It was page 7 of 17 of the CEP NAU brochure. Must be an old version then.

Hmm, still something seems odd as its now going to 5 semesters from 7 previously shown. I hate being in the dark trying to plan school that starts this summer. The revised course plan you posted cc02, seems to be faster than the fast track option.

Take a look at the NAU course of study info that is posted on the Maricopa Nursing site. NUR321 and NUR330 would be done over the summer only if you were doing the fast track option. NUR330 is the only course you would need to take over the summer if you were taking the traditional course of study via the CEP. NUR321 is scheduled for the spring semester and NUR307 with the lab is scheduled for the upcoming fall semester. I am only basing this off of the 17 page pdf, page 7 in particular.
