  1. Just took my nclex this morning. It shut off at 75 with 32 sata! I walked out of there like what the heck just happened. Did Pearson vue trick and got the "good" pop up but I know that I won't breath easy until I see it in black and white! Any one have an idea how long it takes the azbn to post after nclex? Thank you to everyone in this website. It has helped keep me sane through this whole nclex process:)
  2. I just graduated at gateway. We started with about 41 and graduated with 14. 8 doesn't sound unusual. To get back in they determine how many students are allowed for each class by the number of clinical spots available, not classroom seating. For my block 4 we were capped at 30 students because that was all the clinical spots that were available. Good luck, I hope it works out for you.
  3. Does anyone know if mayos new grad program is offered once or twice a year? I don't graduate til may 2016 and am curious if they offer anything then.
  4. Our last day is our final on May 7th but we have to be back for block 3 on July 27th
  5. For signing up we wrote the group number/location on the board and you put your name under what group you wanted. I think each group was 8 and so if more than 8 signed up for any group the teacher would ask for volunteers who could be flexible. If not, the instructor would have to move people around. In our group we were always able to make it work with out the instructor having to step in. We did that during class one night a couple of classes in so not when we signed up for class. For block two we did the same thing but it was done during the end of block one. We pick tomorrow for block 3. As for location we were all over the place lol. Block one there were two LTC facility choices both in the east valley around higley and Broadway. Block two some were at banner thunderbird or good Sam and some were in Scottsdale.
  6. I'm finishing up block 2 at gateway evenings right now and for block one we had 4 Saturday groups and 1 Friday group. It's was 4 weeks and I think we went from 7 to 4(I can't remember the times for sure anymore!). In block two we had 4 Saturday groups and 1 Sunday group and the times depended on the facility but typically it was 7-7 for 6 weeks. We just got our clinical schedule for block three and its kinda a mixture, one group is fri and sat the others are mixtures of sat and Sunday. Keep in mind that clinical rotations are based on availability and can change each semester but that is what my group has had so far. Also there are a couple weekday-daytime labs and simulations sprinkled in. I just mention that because a lot of my classmates work and had to take time off for these days. Hope that helps:)
  7. I received part 2 as well but mine had attachments. One girl in my nau class had problems with her attachments and had to email again to get them. You need the attachment. It has a form you have to take to GW so that you can register for class. Also has due date and instruction for submitting health forms. I would call or email ASAP to get the email resent.
  8. My heads spinning with all the things I have to get done lol! I have to do my CPR and TB testing by July! Luckily I have that all ready lined up:) I'm a little surprised we have to apply in person, I wasn't really counting on that but it doesn't matter much. Just something else to add to the list!! I will probably stop by on my way home from class tomorrow. Getting it done!!!
  9. FINALLY got info from GW about applying and all that!
  10. I haven't received anything yet either tired of waiting. I think all of the other cohorts have already registered for fall classes.
  11. Yes I'm doing the fast track. Of the seven people from Gateway, 4(including me) are doing evenings and 3 are doing traditional. You'll have to let me know how many GW students are in the July class.
  12. There were only 7 of us for gateway at nur 330 yesterday. GCC and CGCC had the most. I really like that we were split into groups by school as it gives us all a chance to meet before fall classes start:)
  13. I start tomorrow as well! Getting nervous but super excited as well!
  14. @PinkUNicorn I don't have access yet and was figuring by now I would. However, If I go to the calendar in BB on the bottom left it lists all my classes I'm enrolled in for summer and fall and if I go to June calendar it shows all the assignments that are due for nur 330. I m not able to access them yet, but they are there. So I am not worrying to much yet since it has that there.
  15. Also if you go to http://jan.ucc.nau.edu/~nurse-p/students/course_packs.php The syllabus' for the summer 2014 nau classes are all posted. In case anyone wants to get an idea of what is expected.
