aint sure if there is already an existing march 2011 test takers' support group. nonetheless, i ought to just create one.. study tips and advices, as well as encouragement, motivation, support, and prayers from each and everyone of us may play a big role in our preparation for this battle. let's all be rn's!! good luck to us!! may the good lord be with us all in our way to passing the nclex!!
Sickle cell crisis hydration must come first because oxygen can't even reach the cells once the sickling has begun.
(Wong's Essentials of Pediatric Nursing, Hockenberry & Wilson, 8th edition, 2009, p.919-920).Severe hypoxia must be prevented because this causes massive systemic sickling that can be fatal. Although oxygen may prevent more sickling, it usually is not effective in reversing sickling because the oxygen is unable to reach the enmeshed sickled erythrocytes in clogged vessels

yeah, you are right, in sickle cell , hydration will be done first to prevent sickling crisis...
Mydream take the NCSBN course, I promise you it's worth it! I took the 3wk course and I pass the the RN NCLEX. The structure of the questions on NCSBN are similiar to the NCLEX questions. True story: I convience a close friend of mine who was studying for the LPN boards to take the NCSBN 3 wk course. She notified me today that she PASS!!!She thank me for introducing this website to her. NCSBN site is awesome!! I highly recommend it to all who are studying for the NCLEX!

i just wanted to tell any future test takers make sure you know this! i got about a dozen infection control questions and about 5 sata were about infection control too. make sure you know what type of ppe to wear for each disease. i went over these exact same infection control mnemonics in my car before going into the test center. i am so glad that i did... although my official results won't come for another few weeks i still have hope that god will see me through. i'll keep everyone in my prayers as well. good luck to all of us :)
I will G-d willing be the last of the March test takers!! I'm hoping to take it March 31st!! I'm doing Exam Cram questions right now! Did anyone do questions from here? How did you score on it the first time? It recommends 85%...I'm getting around 71%!!! I'm reading through every single question though!
