  1. I used exam cram (the book not the cd) my scores were 73%,75%,75%,78%,75%... just read the rationales for every question and you'll be fine:)
  2. i just wanted to tell any future test takers make sure you know this! i got about a dozen infection control questions and about 5 sata were about infection control too. make sure you know what type of ppe to wear for each disease. i went over these exact same infection control mnemonics in my car before going into the test center. i am so glad that i did... although my official results won't come for another few weeks i still have hope that god will see me through. i'll keep everyone in my prayers as well. good luck to all of us :)
  3. finally it said delievery successful so i tried it... i go the good pop up :hpygrp: "our records indicate that you have already schduled this exam, please contact a member of the board..." I hope to God this is true. I live in california so i have to wait 2 weeks to 1 month for the offical results. but the PVT is calming my nerves for now. thank you guys for all the support and prayers!!!
  4. So i just got home from the test center. I don't know what to say I finished in about 50 minutes with 85 questions. About 12 SATA, 5 drugs, and 1 peds calculation. A sh*t load of infection control and priority. I don't know how to feel. I tried the PVT but i think it's still to early. it gave me a message stating the candidate currently has scheduled this test. another appointment can not be scheduled at this time. i don't think that is the good pop up If i did fail it i will be so depressed at the fact that i failed with the minimum number of questions
  5. Good Luck Nursebound and Notsosupernurse. I guess tomorrow's the big day for us. may God be with us and see us through. hope we all have good news to share tomorrow. please keep me in your prayers..
  6. Thank you guys for the encouragement.. I feel like I am losing my sanity. I’ve decided much like you all have said that there is nothing more I can do. I think I have to face my reality tomorrow whatever that may be. I’ll get back to you guys tomorrow and let you know how it was. God willing I will pass. BTW how many hours do I have to wait to try the PVT? My test starts @ 8:00 am.
  7. ok so i thought i would just schedule the nclex for tomorrow thinking i would get up this morning and cancel it, but i woke up around 9 am. so i logged on to pearson vue to reschedule the test date and it said.. your test date can not be rescheduled because there is less than 24 hours.. it was written in red and it was the first thing i saw. now what!!!! do i just go and possibly fail it or should i lose my 200 dollars and just not show. I am so freaking out right now i feel like i have to vomit... i am so dead :smackingf i do not want to wait another 3 months to take it again. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PRAY FOR ME!!! ONLY GOD CAN GET ME THROUGH THIS!
  8. I'm so sorry to hear that your test didn't go so well. Just keep it in your mind that you are a nurse no matter what and don't let this make you give up. I'm feeling nervous myself.. i will be taking the nclex on wednesday and now i'm even more nervous. God willing we will all get our license.
  9. Congrats to all that have passed. I'm taking the nclex on wednesday march 9th. i'm so nervous please keep me in your prayers and i'll keep you posted on what happens.
  10. I also decided to take the NCLEX this month since the passing rate will be raised next month. I just started studying saunder's, exam cram, and ncsbn learning ext. I have major anxiety though so I just want to take it and get it over with. I set my date for March 14, but i'm thinking about changing it to the 10th.(the thought of those 4 extra days of being anxious is killer) I just want to take it and get it over with. only you know how long will be enough for you. personally i think 3 weeks is good enough for me. God willing we will pass ..dont' get me wrong though.. I'm still nervous as hell :flmngmd:
  11. I'm taking the nclex on march 10th I have so much anxiety i feel like i'm developing an ulcer:banghead: I've been doing saunder's, exam cram, ncsbn review (which i didn't like), and life saver review notes. I was a good student during my program (honors graduate), but I don't feel confident in myself and I get very nervous even thinking about this exam. I just keep telling myself if i take it now or a year from now i still have a chance of passing or failing.. i can only try my best and let God work it out. please keep me in your prayers and good luck to all of you test takers
