  1. The site is unlimited access. I would spend 2-3hrs a day doing questions.
  2. (Wong's Essentials of Pediatric Nursing, Hockenberry & Wilson, 8th edition, 2009, p.919-920).Severe hypoxia must be prevented because this causes massive systemic sickling that can be fatal. Although oxygen may prevent more sickling, it usually is not effective in reversing sickling because the oxygen is unable to reach the enmeshed sickled erythrocytes in clogged vessels
  3. sickle cell crisis hydration must come first because oxygen can't even reach the cells once the sickling has begun.
  4. Mydream take the NCSBN course, I promise you it's worth it! I took the 3wk course and I pass the the RN NCLEX. The structure of the questions on NCSBN are similiar to the NCLEX questions. True story: I convience a close friend of mine who was studying for the LPN boards to take the NCSBN 3 wk course. She notified me today that she PASS!!! She thank me for introducing this website to her. NCSBN site is awesome!! I highly recommend it to all who are studying for the NCLEX!
  5. HI, yes the question on the NCLEX was VERY similiar to NCSBN questions! This is why I recommend this site. I also had low scores on certain areas on the test. What I would do go back and review and retake the test. DOnt panic by the time I did take the NCLEX all my scores were not high! The key is to go back and review and read the rationales.
  6. The website for NCSBN http://learningext.com/pages/home. Yes there are practice test on this site. Good Luck!
  7. Trust me I had the same anxiety feeling, omg 3wks. Honestly, I dont know how many questions I did a day. I would go to each section and do questions. I spent a great amount of my time on the NSCBN site. When you complete each section you are given a score card. On the sections I scored low on I would go back and repeat the questions. Just make sure there are no distractions during your study time. I had 80 questions on the NCLEX! Relax you will do FINE! Happy Studying!
  8. I studied for 3wks averaging 3 to 5hrs a day. I did not read all of Saunders. I focused on the areas of the disease process that I was weak in. Do you have the Saunders CD? I can honestly tell you that the style of questions I had on the NCLEX was similar to the question on the NCSBN Learning Extension website. I paid $50 for their 3wk course.

  10. Hello all I took the NCLEX on FEB. 16 and I pass. This was my study regimen Saunders and NCSBN Learning Extension (I highly recommend this site). They are the people who make the NCLEX questions. I can tell you that SATA questions are abundant on the NCLEX!
  11. Hello to all. I am a February test taker. I took the NCLEX on Feb. 16. I did the Pearson trick later on that night and I pass :). I had 80 questions. I had about 10 SATA, 10 pharmacology questions, 1 audio, 1 picture, and too many prioritization questions. My study regimen was Saunders and NCSBN Learning Extension (I highly recommend this site). Good Luck to the other test takers!
